Is it too late to play World of Warcraft?

I have been playing League of Legends since 4.0(pre-cataclysm), and recently came back to WoW but all of my friends quit and say that WoW is a thing of the past.

Is it worth it to play WoW right now? Are they saying the truth and I'm just wasting my time?

Forums are a minority and even here everything you see is so ridiculously divided. I've enjoyed all 8 years that I've played WoW personally and I still enjoy it a lot. Nobody here is going to be able to tell you what you'll like.

This is not the first time you've created a thread to ask a loaded question that insinuates that WoW is dead in some fashion. If you want to try the game out again, you're welcome to, but no one can tell you if you should do so. That's your choice to make.
