I highly prefer Blazing Speed over PoM. Haven't used any other talent than BS this tier, it's amazing. I feel like PoM is so overrated and unnecessary despite it being praised as the best talent of that particular tier by almost the entire Mage community. I don't reforge or gem for any haste caps at all, I just go full crit > haste and end up where I end up. ^^

I don't see how PoM is overrated, it's clearly the best choice by a horselengt. Fire doesn't need more mobility, we have blink and we can move & cast at the same time. PoM on the other hand helps building ignites for our combustion as well as a free pyro that does good damage actually. If you need more mobility as fire I think you're doing something wrong.

Akraen analyzing a fire mage, what madness is this?!

First off, 10/10 transmog. NE going priest is pretty cool especially when it's a troll because your mage lore is different than other races. So you get +1 for RP, too.

Your gear is snazzy, I'm jealous of your ilvl. That said, I think you can accomplish more if you get away from Cauterize. Cauterize is just an easy way out passive, when if you actively work with Greater Invis you avoid so much more, help healers out, and deal with heroic mechanics better.

Your reforging, gemming, and enchants are all ideal for fire. You might be able to take some hit off gems for a couple extra DPS but that's negligible and hard to calculate.

You look like an excellent mage.

I don't think I'm doing anything wrong. If I were I'd respec. I mean, I have gotten a plaethoria of rank one parses this tier so the lack of PoM can't be hurting that much.

Probably not doing anything wrong but I'd say you can probably see a bit better results with PoM from time to time. There's allways room to improve even if you get a rank 1 parse.

BotH has only dropped once for us. We are on 25m too which everyone seems to think means we get our choice of loot when in actuality we just get 2x or 3x tank drops and DE them.

1: Your haste seems awfully low maybe it's just bad itemization but might be worth it for you to swap for full haste gemming with LGM and 1 RPPM trinket.

2: Frost bomb,why? It's inferior in almost every situation
