Damn, they look so much alike You'd think a company as big as EA would think of something more original..
There were plant sims in the Sims 2 as well.
What about Dungeon Siege II - Dryads?
Omg Guild Wars stealing Dryads from Microsoft!
Probably running on a Pentium 4
Does it matter really?

Plant Sims are old and the jolly green giant has been around for years. Sylvari aren't as original as Anet says they are.
Nobody stole anything from anyone... If anything Anet stole these from countless other things. They share an almost exact model as other games/stories.
It's not that they are plants, I'm mostly talking about the hair and clothing for both the male and female.
EDIT: I guess the title of the thread is somewhat misleading, should be stole FROM them, not directly stole them.

They do look alike. I guess there is only so much one can do to make a plant look "hawt" Stuff liek this is nothing new in games tho. Games always borrow/steal ideas from each other all the time.
Also off topic i support the burning of all Sylvari
Yep
GW didn't invent plant people. Hairstyle and clothing too. I don't see a problem here.
that's copy and paste... but I don't care; don't buy EA-games anymore for quite a while now
Definitely a copy of the Sylvari model style. But I really don't see the big deal about it, could simply be a dev from the Sims doing a shout out to GW2.
Honestly, the EA ones look more like cosplayers trying hard to look like Sylvari... the guy is closest to the original.
I think that falls under fair use. There are only so many ways you can create a plant-human.
"In order to maintain a tolerant society, the society must be intolerant of intolerance." Paradox of tolerance
That male one really looks like a low-res gw2 sylvari. It's obvious that they at least had some sylvari influences, but well, they're plant people, that's how they look, or would look
Monk, I need a monk!!!
