Mastery is literally boosting what your spec specializes in, it isn't possible for it to be anything but useful. It might not be the best secondary for your spec but will always be useful.

Edit: Just to clarify, activated Healing Spheres are awesome, the RNG ones based on Mastery are crap.

Unfortunately yes in pvp haha. I would prefer haste so I could get those chaos bolts and incinerates off quicker, but what's best is best.

Same thought here. I just went full on out on haste because MW monks get 50% more haste from items

Mastery kindda double dips for dpriests. Better shields is nice, top that with a flat healing % increase and you have a best second stat! (not counting in spirit on purpose!)
