Game ruined by socialism

The goal of socialism is to make everyone equal, and looks like it's blizzard's main goal too.

So yea, as always, Socialism in theory is great, until you put it into practice and realise how piss poor it is.

The introduction of LFR, removal of team rating requirements for arena gear, class homogenization, and now the 65% base resilience for everybody.

"Hey guys, we're losing subs, let's dumb this game down so everyone can play it" Amazing idea, if you don't agree with it you're obviously an elitist prick. Ehh, I guess not.

Your perfect utopian wow society.. I can't wait until America turns out the same way.

Not sure why you had to drag socialism in to this, but "dumbing the game down so everyone can play it" sounds like a perfectly valid business strategy. I doubt 65% base resilience will wreck the game for you so much that you cancel your subscription.

Socialist countries in Europe consistently turn out in reputable research to be not only the most wealthy but also provide the highest quality of life to their people...

And in WoW it's the same, poorly educated 'murricans like yourself get this idea that you are being put behind because other people (that you think are inferior to yourself) are getting stuff you think they don't deserve.

It doesn't matter at all for top-level pvp how much of your resil comes from gear and how much is base, because everyone has the best gear anyway. The only place it matters is casual players or even dedicated pve players that want to try out pvp, instead of getting instagibbed due to gear they now have a chance to experience another aspect of the game. Same goes for LFR and everything else you listed.

As much as i agree with you, and as much as i hate those threads, we dont really HAVE TO read them.

If America would go the way Wow goes, meaning helping everyone to get a fair piece of the cake, the world would be a much better place.

But I agree that it doesn't work out gaming wise. (main reason I quit playing years ago)

...so far the only people who use the term "'murica" and 'muricans is, actually, Americans who are making fun of a particular dialect of the southern regions. I don't believe I've seen a single person from another country use it, because the joke really wouldn't be understood by them.

Vanilla - TBC - WOTLK

1) The strong survived - they got the best pieces of gear and saw content nobody else saw
2) Those who aspired to be strong - had plenty of heroic dungeons and raids to keep them busy, allowing solid progression

Basically you started at the bottom and worked your way up. Never boring. People at the top had bragging rights, people at the bottom could get to the top if they tried hard enough.

= CAPITALISM

Cataclysm and MoP, although still good, has a piss poor game system

1) Everyone survives - gear is being handed to people in a silver platter , everyone sees content.
2) No aspiration to be a better player - all content seen and cleared by everyone.

There is little to seperate between those at the top and those at the bottom. Very boring. People at the top dont have bragging rights, there is nothing to brag about. People at the bottom are already at the top.

LFR does not make everyone equal. Its just another gap in gear players need to worry about. LFR basically just replaced Heroic dungeon gear from what I understand. Equal would be giving out heroic raiding gear in LFR or Normal mode or even buying it for tokens. I would say that the gear upgrading system is more trying to make everyone equal but ppl in heroic gear are still gonna have better gear, but they took that system out so again I don't think blizzard wants to make things equal for all but just want to make sure everyone sees the content.

News flash mate, Americans are do not solely have US citizenship. You might want to check with:

Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Uruguay, and Venezuela / Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama...oh and Mexico and Canada. Have a 3 minute conversation with people them especially the south AMERICANS...and you will find out guess what they are Americans too, its Unite States Americans giving Americans the bad name....food for though.
