What would you do if Blizzard put the new character models in the Blizzard store?

Simple question. Let's say that Blizzard decides that new player models don't influence anything, they're cosmetic, so decides to put them in the store for 25 euros/dollars/pounds per faction pack. So 50 for all the races. Would you buy it? What if it was 5 euros/dollars/pounds per race?

I don't care if Blizzard will do/never do this, this is a hypothetical question. Just say what would you do in this case.

To be honest, I'd be lying if I said this was a completely ridiculous topic and I didn't think Blizzard could ever do this.. BUT... new player models are HUGELY in demand, and Blizz have said they're working on a way so that old and new models can both be used. It would take nothing for Blizzard to do "Advanced Player Models" as a paid for extra feature on your account. You'd pay to unlock it then can use any of the new models whenever you choose instead of the old models. It would be a massive dick move on their part, but then the bat mount has only come about because of 6 years of popular demand. Blizz have demonstrated that they're well aware that popular-demand = massive profit in store.

Because buying a new T-shirt for yourself with real money is THAT different from buying a new mount for your WC character? they're both simple cosmetic items that you display. If anything, if you pay for a mount in game that you really like, it may get more use and more people seeing it than a real T-shirt/cosmetic item.

please dont try and compare a mount a couple people have wanted to new models which nearly every person in the wow community have been asking for.

I haven't bought any mounts from the blizzard store yet, because in my mind it really makes them lose their appeal. If they were to do this though, I'd buy them without a doubt.

I agree but it's the same thing with the mounts and pets, a subscription game should not have anything be bought for real money, be it cosmetic or not.

Would prefer to buy race specific packs though. Mah druid could use an update.

It'll never happen though. New models will be FORCED on all of us, because not doing so would cause tremendous problems with new gear.

I'm not one that has ever said " I would quit if they do X" , but yeah I would cancel if they did that.
