Do you enjoy doing sub optimal dps? It has nothing to do with keybinds, it has everything to do with seeing what ability to press next, which can change at any second.

When your buttons are off at the side, you are constantly glancing at them, way far away from the action. When they're right under "you", you can pretty much see them without needing to shift your attention from what you're doing.

All my keys are bound, if you're suggesting I'm a clicker. How does having them bound to keys let you know what ability to press next in the most efficient way possible? You need to SEE your abilities to see if they're available at any given moment.

I use Clcret. I don't really need 30 abilities to watch simultaneously, I'm only human, ffs. I only have 3 chars with 2 specs each (pala ret/prot, dk unholy/blood, warr prot/fury) and consider playing with holy pala a bit. So I hope you do realize what a mess are you suggesting to create in my mind.

I have buttons on my screen, quite a few. But more important to track are the procs for which I have some huge icons, truth be told..

Ohh no, just unlock ur icon screen screen and move it. For ur target icon is the same, just right click on the icon and see in the options for unlock.

For made the bars more small, just go to options and made them small, and with the bartender can move it or else.

So, if I'm going to do that with the shit standard UI (which you can't completely do), why not get addons that do it better and look nicer in the process? It's a no brainer to me.

Each addon u use lower ur machine performance, so if u frames are low (50 or less) need clear addons to get a faster interface.


Frames are the time behide u press a number and ur pj do it in the server.

Si lo deseas es español con gusto lo aclaro, recuerda que los addons consumen los frames que tiene el juego para el interface, por lo que, entre más addons tengas, menos frames tienes para usar en el juego propiamente dicho, a no ser que tengas una super máquina te va a bajar el rendimiento, así que los comandos que teclees van a durar más tiempo en reflejarse en la pantalla...

Y eso es una baja significativa de heal o DPS...

I know where you're coming from with the low fps, i've been doing 10 mans at 15 fps for years (i'll be upgrading my pc this fall to something that doesn't suck ass) but even still, the most frame loss im getting with Elvui is around 4-5ish, and it makes the UI look SO much better, and is MUCH more user-friendly, but the fact of the matter is, as a prot paladin, tanking without addons like weakauras, elvui ( or bar/uf addons like it ) is much more difficult than with them, weakauras lets me track my AM, sacred shield, BoG, etc. and elv gives me a great base to create a ui that suits me, not you, not the next guy, me, thats what building a custom UI is all about! building it to suit you.

You can still have a fine time doing normals with the stock ui, but you're pretty much shooting yourself in the foot to do so.

The human eye can only process 60 frames anyway. Having said that, my machine can handle 50+ frames easily even with un-necessday addons running (atlas loot, transmog addons, etc etc). having addons is not an inherently bad thing like you are saying it is. I would argue the complete opposite.

Hey fairly easy to accomplish actually!

I used Skullflowers ElvUI edit which can be found on the website or a quick Google search along with addons such as;

- BigWigs
- Weak Auras
- Skada
- Grid + GridRaidDebuffs + GridDirectionArrows

That's all you need!

Oh and in terms of textures I use minimalist texture for the unit and raid frames etc. and my font is either usually Expressway or Accidental Precendency (my favourite)
