I never really understood why people keep their buttons way off on the edge of the screen. They are the core of everything you do, the important ones should be pretty much the first thing you see aside from your characters position and what's going on in the center of the screen. I have mine hidden unless I have a hostile target, I'm in combat or I hold down alt.



pally is not my main...if you were wondering about the quests...

cause if you don't have to click them there is no need for them to clutter up the middle of your viewing area?

Sadly I've quit playing WoW. But still hangs around in the forums to keep me posted about the changes in 5.4. This is a few months old now, I have my slightly more updated UI (some sleek weak auras and such, instead of the SexyCooldowns2 addon) on my Battlestation at home, I might post them later.

I'm getting a bit annoyed with my ElvUI setup becasue I think it changes too many things.. very annoying having to constantly reload because I can't click a boss in the Dungeon Journal or my glyph screen is blank, but I find I need more buttons visible than less just so I can see what's going on and know what's off cooldown and available.

Many people will at least put CD's procs and CLCRet (if they use) in the center or close.

That's not a product of ElvUI. Been broken as hell for as long as I can imagine (sometimes even with default UI), so blame Blizz.

Updated my UI to something a little more.......... clean.

With everything out, weakauras, raid frames, boss frames, bigwigs, and the bottom right action bar that i use for misc shit ( it's on mouseover )

Looks like it's just ElvUI with the transparency and portrait overlay set up for the unit frames. I use something similar

UI as of 9/2/2013 (Prot Main)

Few things to note:
-All weakauras shown show outside of missings (Righteous Fury/Seal/Sacred Shield on myself or focus/weakened blows/talents)
--The lightning lash weak aura set is for Primordius only and is against the left side of my screen mirroring Boss frames
-Gnosis castbars usually hidden, only shown for obvious reasons
-Everything else fairly self explanatory, will clarify anything confusing :]
-Omen sits between ToT/Focus (below Player/Target)

Tempted to ditch ElvUI but I like having the cohesive look and feel to everything without needing to futz around with lots of little addons. Obviously all the WeakAuras aren't up at once.

Was my project this weekend to get this setup. Started out a complete amalgamation of addons being put together, but then started again from scratch with what I learned I actually liked/needed with a general LUI setup to wrap it up nicely.

What addon does the hexagon buttons? I used to have it, but have long since forgotten.
