Seems like only 6 years ago we were touting people for their whistleblowing (for much less significant things) like they were heroes. Now it's become something criminal...
How's that work exactly?
The most successful tyranny is not the one that uses force to assure uniformity but the one that removes the awareness of other possibilities.
What you're saying isn't radical at all. Blowback is very real, and is one of the main reasons these terrorists exist. Their behavior is reprehensible and never justified, but they win when our government does these sorts of things to us.

Keep up your happy-go-lucky demeanor as long as you want. I'm concerned about our future, and it seems like that poster is too.
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
I am to but blowing things out of proportion and being paranoid(Yes you do sound paranoid) won't secure our future either.Keep up your happy-go-lucky demeanor as long as you want. I'm concerned about our future, and it seems like that poster is too.

Terrorism occurs due to military superiority imo.
When people are warred upon and have no prayer of victory they turn to doing things that the winning side doesn't have to.

I'm not being paranoid. I'm being vigilant. I would be paranoid if I had no reason to be concerned.

That explains the tactics, not the ideology or cause. And yes, military superiority contributes to blowback.

Then tone down the Tyranny trump card. Seriously, I get what you're trying to prove but to say this guy wasn't foolish IMO is well just as foolish. Don't get me wrong, I don't like being spied on either and all that jazz. I find it a waste to. Doesn't mean we should suddenly decide the government is our evil enemy and the end is nigh. You seem to be coming off that way more and more. Just sayin.

Meh, I bet there are advertising/marketing agencies who have more information about my phone activity than the government. I don't see how people are all of a sudden up in arms when this information has existed with a price tag for years.
Atleast now Manning wont have to be alone in jail until the end of time ...
