Flame of the Pantheon, another Fan expansion concept.

Like Destil, I too have been working on ideas for a new expansion. Between class concepts, zone ideas, plot synopses, and even a possible cinematic script, I've been entertaining this idea since my days raiding in Ulduar. Since then, I've been encouraged by the recent events in Mists of Pandaria alluding to something sinister in the near future, and offer my own interpretation of a fictional World of Warcraft expansion!

Presenting, World of Starcraft! No, not really.

World of Warcraft: Flame of the Pantheon

Abs of steel! Or perhaps Bronze or Platinum

Through shadowy necropoleis and planes of flame and tempests, the defenders of Azeroth, while divided, have overcome all obstacles. They have traveled to distant lands and realms, housing cities of forgotten secrets, citadels of the undead, and starships built by beings of pure light. The recent Horde civil war has left their capitol city in fire and drenched in blood, with their leaders in disarray trying to reclaim some semblance of peace. The Alliance, emboldened by an undeniable victory against the Horde, have reclaimed many of their lost lands and are the dominant force on the planet. With a tenuous cease-fire brokered between the remaining leaders of the Horde, and the High King Varian Wrynn of the Alliance, the rebuilding and recovering of Azeroth has commenced. Even war-torn Pandaria, once infested by the negative energies of the Sha, has begun to heal its' wounds, and its' peoples finding a new life in the rejoined world of Azeroth.

During the campaigns in Pandaria, an enigmatic black dragon whelp named Wrathion, son of Deathwing, with the aid of powerful champions, found powerful Titan technology beneath the land, and sought to master its' use. Convinced of an fourth and perhaps final invasion of the world by Demonic forces, Wrathion sought to end the war between the Alliance and the Horde, lest his home be consumed by the coming fire.

Although the division of the Horde was inescapable due to the bloodlust of the deceased Warchief, Garrosh Hellscream, Wrathion and his champions from each faction sought to accelerate the destabilization. While champions of the Alliance prepared for a naval invasion of Orgrimmar, the Horde heroes aided the Darkspear Revolutionaries led by Vol'jin, in the capture of the Barrens, a strategic resource-rich land essential to the rebellion. During the Siege of Orgrimmar, the Horde rebels and Alliance forces fought against the Kor'kron army, headed by Mal'korok, chief advisor to the Warchief. Hellscream's death, along with the purging of the Sha of Pride and suppression of the Heart of Y'Shaarj, a slain Old God, left the Horde crippled and desperate for peace. The Alliance, now an undisputed and powerful juggernaut, spared the remaining Horde forces due to the timely counsel by Wrathion. With the invasion looming, the young black dragon convinced High King Varian Wrynn of the importance of the Horde, whose forces would be direly needed if Azeroth was to repel a full invasion of the Burning Legion.

Azeroth has never been weaker. With a demonic invasion certain, how can the Horde and Alliance survive? Will the denizens of the planet perish before the all consuming Legion, or will a last-ditch search for the only force capable of defeating the full power of the Burning Legion be found?

    Summary of the Expansion:
The Burning Legion has returned. After three failed attempts to invade Azeroth through dimensional gateways and portals, the de facto leader of the Burning Legion has amassed the greatest demonic host ever seen through the cosmos. After a little over ten millenia of normal travel through the Great Dark Beyond, the Legion in its' full might has invaded Azeroth at a time when its' defenders are at their weakest.

Although the invasion of Azeroth is paramount, through a pre-expansion event and the first few levels of the expansion, it is clear that the battle will be lost. Through Wrathion, Prince Anduin, and Velen, an Army of Light is assembled from the greatest heroes of past conflicts to search for a forgotten power.

The Titans, shapers of the universe, designers of Azeroth, and the only force with eons of experience fighting the Burning Legion, are the last hope for a broken and corrupted world. Presumed lost to the eons or the infinite scope of the universe, finding them seems hopeless. But the timely arrival of a forgotten watcher of Ulduar sets in motion the creation of an Army of Light, its' one goal the ultimate defeat of the Burning Legion, through the might of the Titans.

Flame of the Pantheon deals with both the final invasion of Azeroth, the search for the Titans, and the ultimate destruction of the Burning Legion and the Dark Titan, Sargeras.

    Plot and Patches

    Pre-Expanion event:
5.4.X Following the Siege of Orgimmar, and the death of Garrosh Hellscream, a tenuous cease fire is declared by High King Varian Wrynn. With the establishing of Eitrigg as Warchief of the Horde, and The Council of Durotan, formed of Thrall, Vol'Jin, Baine Bloodhoof, and Lor'Themar Theron, is primarily focused with the complete removal of the Hellscream War Machine, as well as the isolation of the Heart of Y'Shaarj. Wrathion, in possession of Titan technology, has employed the help of his champions in the search and repair of the [Watcher's Transceiver], a device that can be used only in dire emergencies to contact the Pantheon. Wrathion sends his champions to all of the known Titan facilities in order to find the Transceiver, to no avail. Through a surprising turn of events, it is discovered that Kalecgos discovered the Transceiver’s location through the events of Dawn of the Aspects, being a tool in the possession of Tyr. Tyr then reveals himself to Wrathion after the retrieval of the gadget, and instructs him and his champions to travel to Mogu'Shun Palace. Using the Engine of Nalak'Sha, Wrathion repairs the Transciever, and takes it to the Halls of Origination. Using the power of the Reorigination machine, Wrathion sends out a signal to the Pantheon requesting their aid against the Burning Legion. Shortly after, the first infernals land, and the third invasion of the Burning Legion begins.

6.0: The Maker's Flame (The Third Invasion)
    Defense of Azeroth (levels 90-92)
Azeroth's forces are spread thin across the land and all mortal, dragon, and terrestrial based titan technology employed against the Demons, led by Kil'Jaeden. Wrathion, the High King, the Council of Durotan, and Tyr discuss possible tactics atop the Halls of Reorigination, Wrathion exclaims suddenly that the transciever is glowing in a myriad of colors. Algalon the Champion of Life (instead of Observer) translocates after Wrathion activates the transceiver to the astonishment of all. After collecting information from the leaders and the present Titanic watchers, he modifies the Reorigination engine to send out a terrific beam of energy at a cluster of Burning Legion forces flying down to Azeroth, buying them some time. Algalon informs the champions and leaders of Azeroth that he was unable to find the Pantheon's capitol mothership, the Crown of Aman'Thul, and was also unable to reach them. He suspects that they have either receded from the universe long ago or are cosmically distant (very, very far away). With the sincerest petitions of Wrathion, Algalon commits himself to the preservation of life on Azeroth, and to that end, will aid Wrathion and all of the mortal heroes on Azeroth on a quest to find the Pantheon. Wrathion, Prophet Velen, Anduin, Thrall, Tyr, and Algalon set out with the Heroes along with a small contigent of Alliance and Horde special forces and supplies through the Dark Portal, leaving the defense of Azeroth to the remaining leaders.
    Interdimensional Travel (levels 92-96)
The newly formed group heads to Shattrath to consult A'dal. The leader of the Naaru, through an inspiring speech, informs the heroes that the best way to find the Titans would be to use the trans-dimensional fortress, Tempest Keep, to travel throughout the Universe as an Army of Light in their search of the Titans. Augmented with Titan technology, and blessed with the presence of the Naaru warrior/pilot Xi’ri, the Eye departs from its station over Auchindoun, while the Botanica and Mechanar are sent to Azeroth to aid in the defense. Planet hopping ensues, with visits to uninhabited wastlelands, inhabitated jungle planets, the shadow of K’aresh, Xoroth, and a multitude of other planets.
    The Infiltration of Argus (96-98)
Only after visiting a planet that houses Titan technology and a failed version of Shalozar Basin/Un’goro do the heroes find the trail. Through reports and logs stored by Titanic workers, it is found that a watcher was only “recently” (~15000 years ago) abducted by the Burning Legion and taken to Argus. Wrathion immediately proposes a visit Argus, to which Anduin vehemently refutes, calling it, “Madness that could only come from the spawn of the Worldbreaker”. After running a risk assessment, Algalon informs the Leaders that he could take a few heroes from the Keep down to the surface of Argus as a task force to gain intelligence about the Burning Legion and possible whereabouts of the Titans. After infiltrating the planet and disabling the major defenses of the Legion around the Watcher’s Cell, with only a few isolated and close calls/battles, the heroes assault the prison and free the watcher (Nyria). The watcher then joins the Army of Light as a counselor, and the leaders discuss the next move. With the combined knowledge of Algalon, Tyr, and the new Watcher, they are able to alter Tyr’s octahedral device which starts a cinematic. In the in-game cinematic (Wrathgate-esque), Algalon creates a starmap, while Nyria uses Tyr’s Device as a compass. The device produces a rainbow light point that floats up and bathes a certain star on the fringes of the universe that is in the “danger” zone, which signifies the world’s consumed by the Burning Legion. With restored hope and confidence, the Keep prepares for the journey ahead through the Nether to reach the system.
    The Eternal Task (98-100)
Upon reaching the system, the leaders of the Army are incredibly surprised to see the system devoid of any Legion forces. Instead, they find a single, green and blue planet that looks startlingly like Azeroth. Orbiting the planet, the leaders decide what to do. Through the persuasion of Anduin and Wrathion, the players accompany them down to the planet while the Keep searches for the Crown of Aman’thul. As they descend to the planet, they are shocked to see familiar geographical features, such as the Storm Peaks, the Barrens as a lush forest, and even a young Elwynn Forest. Wrathion correctly concludes that this must be a second Azeroth, yet untouched any Sundering or Cataclysm, for the continent of Kalimdor is whole. Steering for the center of the landmass, they set down near the banks of a lake. Wrathion considers testing the waters, assuming it is a second Well of Eternity, but notices a lack of any magical energy. Players are sent out to a few nearby zones to look for any traces of the Titans, and the heroes find many Titan complexes in pristine condition, but no inhabitants. When the heroes return, Wrathion and Alduin are in some kind of stasis field, unable to move and accompanied by none other than Turalyon and Alleria Windrunner. Behind the pods stands a giant metallic figure cloaked in magical energies, who announces himself as none other than Aman’Thul. He threatens the heroes and Wrathion and Anduin of reorgination, but Wrathion is able to use his connection to his father to calm the Titan’s annoyance. The player is sent back to Tempest Keep to relay the news through a cinematic, and once Anduin and the heroes return they witness the arrival of the Crown of Aman’Thul, in all of its glory and gigantic size (the size of a small moon, perhaps). Shortly after, Aman’Thul translocates onto the bridge of the Keep and immediately starts to target all of the non-titan life. Algalon quickly begins to parlay with Aman’Thul, and is able to share his realization from Ulduar with him. Prophet Velen is on his knees, while Thrall and Tyr are completely frozen by the presence of the majestic deity. Aman’Thul explains that this was to be a new Azeroth, free of the corruption of the Old Gods and the problems that arose from the Well of Eternity. The party explains how their kind of life couldn’t have happened without it, and they make their claim for aid in defending true life. After pledging the aid of the Titans to the Army of Light, Tempest Keep and the Crown of Aman’Thul begin preparations to depart to Azeroth when the Burning Legion arrives at uncorrupted Azeroth and immediately begin to invade.

    Cinematic Script
    //CIN START
0:00 (Familiar Blizzard logo shines into existence then fades away)
    0:04 (Queue main cinematic theme)
0:05 Pure shadow swirling around the screen, complete black with hints of vapor trails.
0:05 (Valorous and powerful tenor Male voice with a hint of metallic/robot infused) "Countless worlds knew me as a defender..."
0:08 (Shadow pulls back in a spiral pattern to reveal a tranquil hillside meadow shouldering a picturesque lake akin to Nagrand. The sun is shining brightly and a small gust blows the camera panning across the delicate scene.)
0:15 (Camera cuts to a small village by the lake, with small hairy humanoid creatures going about their lives. Soft village-chatter fills the audio, and a quaint melody pervades in the scene.)
0:18 (A mother-creature tending to children yells [calmly?] after a child, who has stopped at the side of the lake, ankles covered by the pure waters.)
0:20 (Camera cuts to shoulder of child, 75* depression to surface of lake, top half of child visible in lake reflection)
0:22 (The child looks down into its’ own reflection, and notices it is standing in shade, it looks skyward.)
0:23 (Camera stays in focus on the reflection of the child, it drops a pebble into the water, the waves of the impact spread out and the child stands in terror as black and green clouds start to emerge around the sun in the reflection.)
0:24 (Camera cuts to the pebble falling through the water, trailing it as it descends, bubbles speckling off the small smoothed rock as it solidly hits the lakebed muck. Pebble kicks up silt and sand underwater obscuring the camera.)
0:27 (Camera cuts back to 50yds from the village overlooking the lake, a fourth of the scene is the village and lake, the rest is the darkening sky, slowly changing hue from a faint blue to a fel green. Small figure runs back into the village, general clamor arises.
0:29 (Fel meteors rain from the now-green sky, some hit the mountains to the left, others impact the lake. Some hit village-buildings, while a majority of them land where the child *once* stood)
0:32 (Male voice is back) “I was charged with the protection of all order, of the life that my brothers and sisters worked tirelessly to perfect.” (By the end of the sentence, a disturbance in the voice is noted, the very small hints of a demonic undertone emerge)
0:34 (Infernals rise from the impact craters, camera cuts from landscape view to the rise of an infernal, its massive green rocky pillar legs stretching it up to full height of ~5m, it roars to its brethren and the attack commences)
0:38 (Male voice) “In every corner of existence, I fought for creation”
0:38 (Camera cuts to the sky again, clouds part for 0:40)
0:40 (Camera follows light-meteor) (A bright beam of bronze golden light pierces through the fel clouds angling left 25* toward the village, and it impacts with a holy-sounding, graceful and light thump)
0:43 (The holy aura fades, an a majestic bronze and blue vanir titan rises from a kneel, with an immense sword in one hand and a strong bulwark shield in the other) (VANIR.S, see ART%)
0:45 (Camera pans behind the titan, from left to right, with many infernals moving toward the titan. Camera shot fades out)

0:50 (Star map of a galaxy appears. Points of white and blue light shine out like marbles in sunlight. Initially, one star on the fringe of the galaxy is consumed by a green fire. [2 second delay] Bronze-gold light purges the fire from the star, but almost instantaneously two more stars get engulfed. Bronze-gold liberates every marble from the fire.) (Camera darkens out, marbles blink out one by one, end by 1:03 mark)
0:52 (Male voice) (Voice becoming less valorous and more infernal, demonic, menacing) “My foes possessed no mercy. They slaughtered and burned all in sight. (Angry) (Coincides with last of the marbles turning gold) Why contest Order? Its power was mighty, its justice (half second delay) overwhelming…”

1:04 (Camera opens up on scenic shot of CROWN OF AMAN’THUL, Titan capitol. Not unlike the High Heavens from Diablo) (Moves in to central tower stairs, bronze figure walking up it with sword and shield on back from earlier)
    1:05 (ANGELIC/PANTHEON MUSIC%)
1:06 (Camera cuts to the feet of the Vanir, pounding up the marble stone with a force that was seemingly break them, but emits a clear bell/metal on gemstone sound)
1:09 (Camera pans up to the face of the titan, very stoic, black orderly beard and medium hair length in back (CONSULT CONCPT/ART%). Ring around head with ornate Titanic scripture (DEV% TITAN LANGUAGE)
1:11 (Vanir kneels, camera rotates around to face inside chamber. Aesir and Vanir titans situated in semi-circle around a great “throne” banister, giant lightning Aesir looks down at blue Vanir, nods).
1:12 (Vanir remains stoic-faced, unmoving, no emotion)(Bronze-female skinned Vanir with flowers and vegetation style walks up behind giant Aesir, and smiles. Golden and silver light fill the room as the rest of the Titans turn to the blue Vanir and join in the celebration with many grins and smiles, nods, salutes and enthusiasm.)
1:14 (Male voice) (Voice should have a definite malevolent tone to it, still have some valorous/noble)” What did they know about what lay beyond the high walls? The great shadow moved ever closer, to delay the inevitable (second pause, consult 1:16 video queue) …is chaos.”
1:16 (Vanir turns around to face 20* off camera angle, looking to the left of the screen slightly) (Vanir titan’s face sheen loses its luster, and a small crack out of the left cheek appears. Warm ember glow emitted from crack, like fire peeking out of a crack between floorboards) (Vanir walks by camera angle out of sight)
1:18 (Shadow mist swallows the camera, with the last bit of golden light peeking out through the center, shrinking, before cut off completely)

(SECOND HALF FLAME OF THE PANTHEON CINEMATIC THEME)

1:21 (Dark mists are blown away as the Vanir walks into them, Camera ‘hits’ Vanir as he passes through it, knocking it off in front of him, fixed distance as he walks forward.)
1:24 (Demonic screams, hisses, flame crackling, hooves clicking, slow needle on cloth ripping sound)
1:25 (Camera pans to the left, to the right of the Vanir, shows golden glow from the door he entered in. Camera rotates to the left, shows the jail cells he is walking by. Many kinds of demons, Infernals, Imps, Felhounds, Doomlords all crackling and moaning devilishly the name ‘Sargeras’ . Vanir has more cracks on his face, his shoulders starting to show some cracks. Emberlight more apparent on face)
1:29 (Vanir stops at a cell that is not emitting any kind of flame light or fel light, but masked in an eerie purple shadow.)
1:30 (Male voice, even more malicious and demonic.) “Vanquished and imprisoned, the demons had no power, they were no threat to the ‘miracle’ (sarcasm/disgust/snarky) of life.”
1:32 (Bright fel eyes open and pierce through the purple shadows, they move forward silently at first toward the jail wall, then the sound of hooves are heard slowly)
1:34 (Vanir stands silently as demon approaches jail wall)
1:35 (Horns poke out of the purple mist, then the eyes flare up in green fire. The face of the now revealed Dreadlord is revealed, then the entire figure. It stands the exact height of the Vanir. It stares intently into the eyes of the Vanir, the flames twisting around in the iris)
1:39 (Male voice) What was life worth? Countless eons of battle, for what? The shadow moved ever closer…and all creation would perish ultimately. Chaos persists.
1:43 (Camera backs off from jail cell, to include both the Titan and the Dreadlord) (Huge cracks start to appear all over Vanir, flames burst from the fissures, the ends of the braids of the Vanir’s hair catches fire, and the golden glow deserts the Vanir, to be replaced with a red-orange glow.)
1:46 (Camera pans and revolves up to Vanir’s face, showing the transformation. Reflection in the eyes show a giant bronze-red fist smashing into the jail cell. Dreadlord rises up in felflame and purple might)( More sounds of gem-like metal twisting and crunching, and the delighted chaotic screams and hollers of the demons fill the room.) (Camera cuts)
1:54 (Camera cuts to landscape view of Titan capitol, from the very rim of the city, a giant green explosion rips apart the roof and left side of a massive tower, black, red, orange, green and purple shadows and streaks bursts out and fly/flood over the city and cut out the camera.)

    (Sargeras theme fade in)

2:00 (Male, completely demonic now. Personification of evil voice. Fire and metal. Flaming brimstone, crackling coal, hiss of hot metal bathed in cold water) “My legion washed over creation, order fell before chaos on every world that the Titans touched.”
2:00 (Galactic view again) (Bronze-golden light marbles start falling fast before the felflame (red and green), extremely fast. Camera zooms in to one bronze-golden marble, fades out)
2:07 (Camera fades in on beautiful arcane/magical utopian city) (Argus pre-corruption, Eredar in Draenei original natural forms in city in the billions.) (Prophet, Deciever, Defiler pre-contact talking. Image of Vanir-pre corruption appears in the middle of them. Hand motions, Deciever and Defiler nodding and entrapped, entranced. Prophet frowns and starts to get up to leave.)
2:14 (Camera pans through Prophet’s head and rotates with it, enters out again and camera is looking out of capitol building over the metropolis. It has transformed into a hellish city in flames and fel green hues and black towers.
2:19 (Giant red eredari mages working great fel magics all over the city, demons pouring in and out of portals. Prophet turns around to look at Deciever and Defiler. They are fully corrupted, Kil’Jaeden and Archimonde images like in-game, both grin, Vanir now completely corrupted and laughing deep and malevolently. Prophet shuts eyes and covers ears to wake up. )
2:29 (Prophet opens eyes, and he’s back to pre-corruption, valorous and stoic Vanir still there in center of all 3. Prophet runs out, and the Deciever and Defiler look unhappy, they are looking at the Titan image as he loses his bronze glow and basks the room in green and red. Camera stays at capitol building doorway, revolves around to show Prophet running away from purple Temple as arcane glow from building fades and a deep hellish red erupts behind the camera and slowly takes over the screen. Demonic laughing.) (Camera fade)
2:34 (Male voice, pure demonic) “Once extinguished, light yields to darkness…”
2:35 (Camera fade in to view from atop high mountain still on Argus. Oshu'gun and Tempest-Keep like ships landed on top of mountain. Prophet appears out of massive refugee crowd, and looks up at K'ure.
2:39 (Prophet turns around and looks out over landscape and sees mass terror and destruction. Camera remains fixed on destruction as Sargeras appears out of the center building and unleashes a great fel blast toward the ships, one ship takes the full blasts and plummets to the ground and explodes.)

2:51 (Camera fades onto the Dark Titan sitting on an infernal throne in the ruined Argus capitol building, infernal and fel themes everywhere, demons surrounding him. He is holding a large golden orb in his hand (AZEROTH), looking at it greedily. Many symbols appear around it, Alliance, Horde, and Naaru the brightest and largest.
    2:54 (Sargeras deep, slow laugh)
2:55 Camera approaches Azeroth-orb, fel and red meteors rain down to it.
2:57 WORLD OF WARCRAFT: FLAME OF THE PANTHEON logo slams in onto picture, throwing everything else but the Azeroth-orb away. Orb assumes typical planet at center of logo title.

    ASTRAL WALKER CLASS NOTES
Class details: Astral Walkers use astral energy and a new specialty system called cosmic affinity, which is like the Balance Druids Solar/Lunar power system, for when a certain class spell is used, it pushes Affinity towards and away from the spell class. For example, say the Walker uses a melee dps ability. Using this ability increases melee dps effectiveness (to a certain extent), but also decreases healing effectiveness. Using tanking abilities decreases spell effectiveness, vice versa. This forces the Walker player to anticipate what kind power he is going to need in a fight. Since the Astral Walker has a current specialization abilities as well as a few (2-4) spells from other specializations available to him at all times, he is not completely locked into a specific role in any situation. Typically, in dungeons and raids, players will be expected to perform a certain role, and the affinity system allows for this.

Imagine some bar under character screen that looks like this.

The wheel rotates under a fixed pointer. When no affinity is active, the circle is greyed out. When a player uses a spell/ability, the wheel rotates the correct section under the pointer, and begins to glow brighter at certain percentages, while the opposite section gets blacker. At 100%, the entire circle is filled with the one color. When more than one affinity is active at a certain point, the other sections also glow, and the pointer stays on the one with the highest affinity.

    Sample cooldown spells
Cosmic Burst [3min]: The Walker overcharges his cosmic field to dump 60% affinity into any other “affinity pool” to increase the effectiveness of a specialization class for 8 seconds, and returns the affinity to the center (0%)
Aether Shift: The Walker accesses the essence of Aether to change his affinity to a selected pool which becomes fully charged for 10 seconds, and after would return to the previous affinity at 60%. Each ability of each specialization raises the affinity 10%, except select, power, longer cooldown abilities, which raise the affinity by up to 20%.
Call of the Titans: Activates all affinities at 70% for 5 seconds and removes Affinity Shift.

    Sample Norgannon spells:
Ethreal Spike: Destablizes the cosmic field around an enemy, causing ## damage over 6 seconds.
Arcane pump: Drains the cosmic energy around an opponent, refilling ## cosmic field.
Void Orb: Encases the target in an orb of pure void energy, protecting them from all spell effects and raising them into the air 20m. Targets will take 10% fall damage.
Singularity: Create a singularity around the target, which teleports all enemies within # yds to the target.
Asteroid System: Creates four asteroids around you, randomly composed of either ice or rock. Each asteroid can take ### damage before being destroyed. Use [Asteroid Impact] to send an asteroid to a target. If friendly, the asteroid will orbit the new target. If enemy, the asteroid will strike the player and either cause damage or a slow effect.

    Sample Eonar spells:
Breath of Vita: Bathe the target in the power of Creation, Vita.
The Maker’s Light: Bask an area with sunlight, healing all target’s within the radius by ## health per second for 4 seconds. Friendly targets will take Overexposure damage after 6 seconds of standing in the light.
Tidal lock: Creates a tidal lock on two targets. While the targets are facing each other, they both gain # health every (2-4) seconds. Only one tidal lock pair can be created per Walker.
Supernova: [COOLDOWN] heals all targets within # yds for # health

    Sample Golganneth abilities:
Thundering Cry: Unleash the power of Golganneth, interrupting all spellcasting within 6 yards and granting # haste to all allies within 10 yards for 10 seconds.
Light and Sound: Imbues your weapon with lightning, giving your auto-attacks the chance to create a lightning spark that will damage the target over 3 seconds. Also produces a sonar shell around you reducing incoming damage by #
Overpressure: Compress the air in front of you, disorientating the target for 4 seconds.
Call of the Aesir: Summons a lightning giant to aid you, which has a # chance to unleash chain lightning upon your foes every 5 seconds and auto-attacks the target. Lasts 15 seconds.

    Sample Khaz’goroth abilities:
Seismic stomp: Stomp the ground and fissure the earth around you, reducing enemy speed by 30% in a 60* cone in front and behind you.
Skin of the Vanir: Grants a thick metallic skin, decreasing incoming damage by 20% for 10 seconds. (Like Barkskin)
Mountain’s Blood: Create three mini dormant volcanoes, which can be activated separately using [Eruption]. Active volcanoes have a 50% chance every 3 seconds to spew lava, which causes AOE damage and hardens on the target after 6 seconds, stunning them for 2 seconds. Active volcanoes last for 15 seconds, and turn extinct, creating an obstacle for players. Standing behind an extinct volcano breaks LOS, but they can be easily destroyed.
Magnetic field: Creates a magnetic field around you and the target, slowly dragging the target to you, as well as any electrified enemies.
Geothermal Power: Access the power of the Earth, drawing # health over 10 seconds. Immobile when active.

Possible class concerns: No burst, too many spells, confusing system, too much to keep track of, too many specializations, too many specialization spells.

Well that was certainly fun. If you've made it to the bottom, congratulations. Hopefully it didn't take you as long to read it as it did for me to think it up and write it. If you like or dislike any of the ideas, please leave some criticism below! I have thick skin like a Vanir, I can take it.

    ABOMS NORTH-LEFT!

    Hello, what's this?

An exhaustive read, as it turns out! Just read up to the summary so far, I'll make my way through the rest of it. Good set up, nice premise - I like the twist of the Titans setting up an improved(?) version of Azeroth. And Algalon coming back - I always liked the idea of seeing him again.

I read the whole summary, very good stuff. I especially love the part where Sargeras is found clashing with the Old Gods, probably an unfamiliar and equal foe for Sargeras and The Legion.

Very interesting, class not so much. Does not really fit with the theme you're going with. All in all i like it. 8/10

I'll take it! I still want my silithid expansion though, in which we get two whole new continents underneath Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor. That or a Tuskarr expansion. Could you get on the fan concept outlines for those?

It was ok. There've been more interesting fan fictions shown lately, and this would likely not make my top 5 choices. It feels very disjointed. The class is absolutely random, and is not an existing class in the Blizzard universe. As for the return of the legion and the tip to another Outland, I think you were on to something and were drastically sent askew. 4/10

Would just like to point out that the forgotten watcher could perhaps not be a watcher and instead be the final titan that Wrathion mentions during the legendary quest line after consuming Lei Shens heart.

Yes to everything except for the Astral Walker. Sounds too much like a Shaman, or a mix between that and an Arcane Mage.

This seems really cool. I doubt we'd see THAT many worlds in one expansion, but if we did it would be awesome. The class idea seems cool, where they have some astral walker abilities, then are able to spec in to channeling powers from a titan. This has loads of potential for a playable class, though it'd require lore that would allow us to channel their power, such as once we find the pantheon, they agree to train heroes to prepare for the oncoming storm. It would take tremendous effort, and the story would need more fleshing out and buffing, but this would be a cool all-in-one demon expac

Too many planets, it would have to be one planet only otherwise it would just be a scattering of single zones like in cata.
