5.4 LFR ilvl requirement.

Well, MSV required 460 (previous "tier" was 463), HoF and ToES required 470 (previous tier was 476), and ToT required 480 (previous tier was 483), so between 495 and 500 seems most likely. If I had to guess, I'd say probably 498.

500 would require almost full Throne of Thunder gear. It's probably just gonna be 490 so you can get into it with minimal upgrades from Throne.

It should be 500 especially since they put upgrades back in. It'll still be 2 weeks of smart play to get a fresh alt up there with new honor gear and increased ToT LFR rates.

Well we have at least 3 months before the next tier drops and that should be enough time for people to get to ilevel 500 without taking into mind that once it does drop Throne of Thunder loot will drop easier. Beyond an off hand and a trinket from lei Shen there is litterally nothing left for me to collect in LFR and I have all the Valor gear and I am ilevel 515.

Shouldn't be hard for other people to get 500 ilevel in the next 3 months.

ToT gear is 502. it's easy to get loot from Nalak and Oondasta at this point, and you also have the 522 valor vendor. heroic scenarios also reward 516 gear. It's also likely you'll have another way to get gear in 5.4. I have never killed a boss in ToT normal, have 1 nalak and 1 oondasta item, still 4 pre 5.1 items, 1 scenario item, 3 valor items and rest 502 LFR gear, and I have 507 itemlevel.

it's not hard to get 500 itemlevel. through scenarios, you get 516 gear. through scenarios, heroic scenarios and LFR, you get valor for 522 gear. through world bosses, you get 522 gear.

With upgrades back in and 516s from scenarios, I don't see them making the requirement less than 500. I think it's safe to say there will probably be a few pieces of easy to get 500+ gear when 5.4 launches to help out, as well.

edit: Current 522 valor gear will probably be reduced in price and 496 valor gear will be moved to justice or even further reduced in price. 496 gear + 8 in upgrades gets you over 500 already.
