Jaina, Varian and Lorthemar is probably only when you fail the encounter. I don't believe they're killing off three big characters just like that.

it may have been mentioned already in this thread, but while it is certainly possible that they do die, it is also possible that those sound files are there for failing the encounter.

its possible to let thrall die in the hour of twilight five man, or arthas during the culling of stratholm. they arent really dead of course from a lore perspective, just an encounter failure.

Oh, I know he talks all the talk about his destiny and how the world will be his etc etc. Deathwing's Madness started with visions from the Old Gods, and just like Garrosh he assumed he conquered them and that his actions were his own and the voice whispering in his head was just himself.

I'm not saying he's been fully corrupted servant of the Old Gods, just that he's probably been unknowingly led down the path by them. Funny thing about being manipulated, you usually don't know it's happening.

Please Dave Kosak from Blizzard said that all of his actions and slaughter is from his own free will and he is just a bad apple and yet we still see people think he is manipulated/corrupted by old gods? really? you really guys don't know when to accept the truth eh?

Jaina's sound file sounds exactly like one of those "failed" escort things where your escort dies. Like others have said, I doubt they die.

Lor'themar's also could be taken like that, though it sounds more like a backstab. Could also be a reaction when he enters a room (maybe Garrosh has a room with blood flowing or something, idk). Though considering it looks like Jaine/Lor'themar share the same role in the raid, it probably is just like hers.

Will if this does happen. i can see how it will go after we kill garrosh we find lorthemar hurt very badly and jaina and king, and then Sky starts to go dark.. rain start to come no wait kings son is some area with light and things around him where then sun does't move.. he there talking with the true gods of wow.... asking them to not let the people die.

The amount of alliance crybabies in this thread lol. I would consider killing the Horde's Warchief and sieging their capital city to shambles as a victory indeed. But I guess Alliance just want the Horde gone forever, deleted from this game, and have it Alliance only running through the fields saying ''For The Alliance!''.

I'm a Horde from way back in early BC days when we were the underdogs for life. I would actually like to see Fortified Org torn down and the Horde forced to relocate to Thunder Bluff as the new Faction main city.

Of course, I would also like to see Thrall dead for his stupidity in naming Garrosh Warchief, at the very least. But I'm not as forgiving as most Horde.

We've been the dominant faction for too long, in game, and need a reminder of where the Horde started, as a ragtag group of desperate survivors working together to atone for past sins and make a new place in the world, not dominate it.

But, that's just me.

I don't know why the rest of the Horde is fighting the Lich King. Arthas is a human and it's the Alliance's problem. We should just let the Scourge and Alliance destroy each other but obviously Blizzard is too pro Alliance to give a rat's ass about the Horde.

You forgot the fact that the origin of the Lich King was in fact Ner'zhul which was an orc shaman.

I didn't forget, Arthas was the dominant soul of the Lich King and throughout the xpac LK was referred to as "Arthas". Ner'zhul was gone already.

So far it seems like Blizzard is 0/2 promises they made about this. Garrosh is corrupted and the Alliance ain't gettin' shit.

He wasn't corrupted. He was shown a vision of a false future. A lie.

It's old god using their famous bullshitting powers instead of using their mind controll beams-which is what the "he isn't just corrupted" refers to.


So no, that promise remains intact.
