is my psu suited for the upgrades.

this is my current PSU, they dont make it anymore http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817139023 80% bronze,

    upgrading from a radeon 6870 to a gtx 770 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814127742
and from the 4-core "pile driverish" to the 8 core 8350 vishera, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819113284

just wondering if ill need to upgrade my psu to get these working.

It should work, I don't know the exact power consumption of the 8350, but you PSU seems to be able to handle it, its 80+ bronze, so the quality of the power shouldn't be problematic. 600w might be a bit small for those 2, but as I said I don't know for a 8350. (The 770 don't take a lot of power, but on intels build the min recommanded is 550w)
    My first build:
Storage: Kingston SSD Now V200+ 120G and WD Caviar Blue HDD 500 G
    Processing Units: i5-3570k @ 3.8 Ghz cooled by 212 Evo and MSI Twin Frozr 3, R7850 @ 900, 1200
Mobo, Ram, PSU Gigabyte Z77-D3H and G.Skill ripjaw 2x 4G with XFX 550w
If I am unreadable, its not because I hate grammar, its because Im french-canadian

Yeah, you're fine. The 8350 + 770 will pull about 450w in stress testing, and about 250-350w while gaming.
