Jaina: *Groan* *Moan* *Cough* "I can't...go on..."
Lor'Themar: "Where is this blood c-coming from..." Scared tone making it seem as if he is seeing his own blood.
So it seems from the audio files and from 5.2 daily hubs they play similar roles Alliance/Horde respectively...might they both die?
I haven't really taken part in the game since 5.1 but am coming back for 5.4, so I don't know if something in game already hints to this or not, or if anyone from the PTR knows. I don't think they would kill them, especially not Lor'Themar since we are already losing a Warchief...I hope he doesn't die at least.

Yeah, if they're involved in a raid fight then those are probably just sounds from when they die after the raid dies.
Eh he could be scared that Varian gets pushed out the room or knocked out or something, some sort of gimmick to make it a Jaina/Loth'remar + players versus boss fight. Obviously we (the Horde) have no Varian counterpart, so they can't create a faction-equal raid fight with Varian involved. Originally Posted by Karosene

Its hard to know Jaina's sound like fight noises but Lor'themars "where did this blood come from" that sounds like it is actually a death.

POSSIBLE SPOILERS - SoO audio files
After listening to the sound files it sounds like Lorthemar and Jaina both die and in the 5.3 barrens quest chain Thrall foreshadowed his own death talking to Vol'jin about taking care of Aggra and his kid if he doesn't make it. Is Blizzard really gonna pull a "Game of Thrones" and kill off a bunch of characters in one raid?
Though the audio files may be misleading as I remember thinking that Anduin was dead for sure just from listening to the audio files from 5.1. How many main characters do you guys think will really die off?

Pretty sure Jaina and Lorth just have a non-canon "your raid fucked up" soundfile, in case you wipe.
Just like Arthas saying something like "and now you are all little drooling zombies!" everytime you wipe on him."And all those exclamation marks, you notice? Five?

"Don't pay any mind to the death sounds in the PTR, they are just if your raid screws up.
If any of them die it is surely deserving of a cutscene not just a lame little roleplay, cutscenes are there own files and wont have audio."

The "Wh- Where did all this blood come from?" line worried me, but with the healing magics in this world, hopefully it doesn't mean he's going to die.
