Frozen Players

I just tried to create a minecraft server and I can see when someone spawns, but they dont move on my screen and vice versa. Please help!!!

Are you and the others on the same network or in different locations? What are the specs of the computer you're running the server on? How fast is your internet connection? We can't do a lot to help without further information. :/
