Depends if your healers need the help or not. If you 5 heal, maybe. If you 6 heal, definitely not.
2# What talents should you use?
EB / Echo if you are having issues with adds. If you dont have to kill adds (unlikely for first kills) then PE is fine. EB is a no brainer for learning the fight. The only thing that can really prevent any guild from killing the boss is add damage.
    3# Smart macros/tips
    /tar Essence of Anima
    /tar Corrupted A

Not sure if you're 10 or 25 man OP but most of the what was posted above is pretty much correct. On 10 man for our first kill we 2 healed it so I had it down all the time in phase 2 after our first few kills it was unnecessary.

25m here, we had to drop HR on CD during P2, it's a plus at the expense of very little DPS.

Add management is really the only tough thing in this fight and you can't really overkill them so I suggest sticking to EB/Echo.

You also want a /stopcasting macro on your bump if you go with that strat.

Thanks for the feedback, it's 10man btw.
    Found this great macro
    /tar [exists,nodead] ra-den
    /tar [exists,nodead] corrupted anima
    /tar [exists,nodead] crackling
    /tar [exists,nodead] essence of anima

You should swap the order to match the focus order :
    - Essence of Anima
    - Corrupted Anima
    - Crakling
    - Ra-den

His macro does exactly that already. There won't be a corrupted anima orb up same time as a crackling stalker, so swapping them wouldn't matter.

You're right, I forgot how "exists" worked. That being said, there will be times where there are both a Crakling Protector and an Essence of Anima so he should put Essence before Crakling.

No, it's the other way around.
The macro starts by targetting Ra-den, then moves down to 2nd, 3rd and 4th. So the one at bottom is the one that always will be targetted, not the other way around, all in 1 click.

I tried it out, works like a charm!

you might as well drop healing rain when corrupted anima is not out.

phase 2 is a joke on DPS, the ONLY thing that can wipe the raid is the dmg, so why not help out the healers.
