Honestly I am disappointed Gamon gets such big role in the raid. Blizzard put him there only as fanservice. It should have been Varok Saurfang instead.

Warrior set looks like like it was inspired by Nui'zao and designed to match the legendary tanking cloak. Priest set seems to be drawing similar aesthetic inspiration from Chi-Ji.

I believe I found something interesting in the extracted FrameXML.

From UnitFrame.lua :

This code is for getting a Unit's name for putting on a tooltip (I guess)

First it looks like it grabs the name , server & relationship of the given unit.

Then depending on the relationship it either returns :

Name - Server (on same server)

Name - Interactive Server Realm Label (which according to GlobalStrings.lua is a #)

Name - Foreign Server Realm label (which according to GlobalStrings.lua is a *)

So what does this mean ? We will have Virtual Realms as well as CRZ ?

So CRZ isn't going away ?

Decent looking warrior set, possible AoE aspect to Slam, neat extra damage from cloak, Gamon is a badass and no 2-man Engineering mount...

Lots of neat stuff. Sad the mount is now just a druid flight form for herbalists... Oh well, love more info.

Saurfang has more relevance to the Horde. Gamon however, is just a product of poor quest design and a joke among players. It would be like making Hogger a key character if the raid were placed in Stormwind.

I think you overestimate how many people have kept up with the legendary chain. It also won't exactly be worn by everyone and all their alts -- an expansion-spanning questline isn't something you knock out in an afternoon.

When i've been doing lfr lately, i always see some 3-5 people loot legendary line of lei shen.
Seems a lot have kept up.

Yeah probably. Or make them cost 1000 gold or the like. Would prevent people to use them in lfr purely from greed.

Because mages/shamans/hunters aren't using them at the worst of times already NOPE.
And when it is actually needed no one pops it anyway, due to brain dead, tunnel vision etc.
