Question Would you have liked to seen a raid based around the Scarlet Crusade/Onslaught?

Personally I have always enjoyed the Scarlet Crusade storyline. I loved the dungeons based off them. I was kind of sad to see basically the ending of the storyline in Wrath but who knows if we'll see them pop again in a future expansion.

Would you have liked to seen a raid involving the Scarlet Crusade/Onslaught though? Or were the dungeons enough?

Considering what we've seen of the storyline, not sure if it could support a full raid. Who knows, tho

I would have liked to see it but in the end there isn't anyone in the Crusade or Onslaught strong enough to warrant it. It could have worked when Mal'ganis was the head of the Onslaught or something... but that's about it. They are pretty weak compared to what we fight now.

Sure, but seeing that it's largely human lore and there's not really any way that the Horde, Thrall, or any other Orc would have center-stage, I don't think it's very likely we'll see it happen.

If we're talking about wrath-centric raids, I'm more diappointed we didn't see Azjol Nerub fleshed out more than it was. It was an entire civilization that was sorta left to the sidelines. Even though they had a couple dungeons dedicated to them, one was more old-god centric.

I would've liked to see the Scarlet Onslaught have had a presence in the raids. ToC might have been most appropriate, being centered around jousting and knights. They could have been active participants.

I think that their story arc would have been great in scenarios, it would have been cooler than some quests in Dragonblight and Icecrown.

Liked the storyline. Think it's better for quests/dungeons though than as a raid.

During Wrath if they had done some old heroic dungeons putting Scarlet Monastery would have been appropriate, but as for something new I would not have minded something for that particular story.

It had its time during wrath when we found out that the leader was malganis

The scarlet crusade or what ever it wants to call itself is finished

I dont expect to see them again in wow

Anyone stupid enough to follow that disgraced and discredited organisation is so stupid or mentally ill that it will never pose any danger to any undead or alive person again

One could have worked in vanilla or wrath, but I think their storyline is mostly finished now. Would have love done though, a big outdoor raid in one of those scarlet towns, either the one In EPL or dragonblight would have been cool

The island off to the side of Icecrown would have been the best IMO

Not particularly... I feel like they've played their part.

TBH i'm glad they gutted Azjol-Nerub zone... it would been another dark blue zone like Netherstorm (and Deepholm & Dread Wastes after that). I hate those areas. Whatever great quests etc. they would put in those areas, for me it's just another dark and blue craphole. (ICC and Zangarmarsh were only a little bit better for some reason)

I already fear that we get more than one blue zone in next expansion. Nnnnnoooo!

Anyway, in topic: It would been nice imo, but i think that you can make only so much from only human bosses. There would be no "monsters", only ~10 3-meter tall humans. And few guard dogs. Would not bother me, but imagine the whine after that.

Edit: if we stretch our imagination, there would be one undead boss (ie. they have hid one lich or something in their torture cells and we release it) and maybe one "siege" boss where we fight against ballistas... rofl. or somekind of vehicle battle, ugh. But you know what i mean.

The AN zone was scrapped- it was on the table as a giant underground zone with a nerubian raid inside (Yogg-Saron was originally going to be the Algalon of that raid, but when it was scrapped, he was moved to Ulduar last boss, if i remember correctly). In Ahn'Kahet, you get to see a bit of the artwork going into that zone- quite beautiful.

OT, yea, it would have been cool during Wrath, or even new 5 man for em. But its time is past now- the Scarlet Crusade is a fragment of what it was.

No. There's a certain threshold for what's threatening enough to deserve a raid. The Scarlet Crusade's a buncha racist assholes but they are generally goodish (they oppose the Alliance and Horde but they also opposed the Scourge) and aren't likely to ever destroy the world or overrun a continent or anything.

They're essentially a minor villain, and in a world with a billion major villains... Well it's kinda wasted time right?

they weren't that huge to begin with really, some former silver hand and lordaeron survivors who went fanatical (which made some leave and form the argent dawn) cut ties with almost everyone (which does NOT do nice things to recruiting) and as of cata one out of the 4 major dreadlords managed to wipe out every single one of them and bring them back as a forsaken-esque undead group controlled by him (and even HE didn't rate more than a continued appearance in a 5 man, heck the other one that controlled them alongside him was just a 5 person group quest in wrath). really they are pretty much just a threat or annoyance to a single race, when they tried to stand up against a single group of deathknights raised from a fight with the argent dawn they got nearly wiped out and when they tried to attack northrend directly they REPEATEDLY got beat down.
...at this point it's almost guaranteed that "war in warcraft" is garrosh getting on his incompetent podium to declare yet another group his enemy for the crime of breathing his air, alliance saying this is horde favoritism, and the more....special....yes.. let's go with special... horde players seeing garrosh as a god because he lets them attack the alliance players who keep saying that out being led by a moron is horde favoritism.

Scarlet Crusade merged with argent dawn.

Scarlet Onslaught was pretty much ended in Icecrown.

They aren't (powerful) enough to have a raid around.
