Shadow Priest Help

Good Morning,

Ive been playing a healing priest for a very long time and have almost never played a Spriest. I respecced to shadow and have been working on my DPS for 25 man and with single target dps can not get over 55k.

Is this the normal DPS on endgame single target around 500 Ilvl? Any assistance would be great thanks.

I dont actively raid anymore I am more of a pvp guy, But from my experience it's true singlw target dps is lacking.

The best thing and probb already know this, is to use Insanity, stack haste to get those extra ticks and make sure u get up atleast 3 full mindflays off the target with insanity up.

For the rest.. idk is there even more.. except for the standard things?

Your not the only 1 who sees this problem.

When I armory'd you just now you have two healing trinkets on, missing 3 enchants and have a lot of incorrect gems (for shadow).

Get the first haste breakpoint (8k one) if possible - http://howtopriest.com/viewtopic.php?t=1748 -- keep this link, will help you later.

I was doing 55k before Msv came out ( the 2nd week of mop) read up on shadow, your doing something severely wrong

Thank you all, yes i do have the healing trinkets and i kinda reforged and regemmed off of ASKMRROBOT still trying to transition but i thought 55k was a little lacking even for what gear i had. Thank you for the links ill do some more research. Appreciate the responses

If geared/gemmed/enchanted properly you'd probably push out around 70k- this is of course assuming that you aren't locked in to your rotation. If you are locked in to your rotation and doing it all correctly, it should be higher. But anyone with proper gear/gems/enchants/reforge should be pulling more with that kind of gear.
