Favorite original 151 pokemon?

I'm a bit torn on 1st Gen. My favorite as a 7 year old was probably Charizard, but for all the times I've played FireRed or HeartGold, Dewgong is probably my favorite. He was the first pokemon I ever got to level 100 and I facerolled Lance and friends so hard with him. Would have said Slowbro, but I prefer Slowking.

Plus he's adorable.

in fact my general gen 1 team would usually look something like:

Marowak
Zapdos
Bulbasaur
Alakazam
Tentacruel
Arcanine

Generally I tried to avoid using legendaries other than zapdos because he's boss!

I do the same but with Articuno . Legendary trios aren't usually blatantly overpowered either anyway.

Cute little thing and its massively powerfull as Marowak with the right setup. Replaying leafgreen recently i wiped out the entire team rocket questline with him for shits and giggles. Revenge time !

Magmar by far, because it evolves into Magmortar which is amazing. It used to be Blastoise though. I love pokemon that evolve twice.
