[Anime] What is your favourite Favourite Anime OST?

I decided to start a thread asking for everyone their opinion, I'm sure every anime fan loves one OST or another the most! Also tell us the reason why you like that particular OST if you like!
I'm sorry if this thread has been made before!
    So here I go! ^_^
    Fairy Tail Kizuna!
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RqxmFkmEoZQ
It's a really emotional OST and it makes me cry tears everytime I remember what Fairy Tail has been through and all the sad and happy moments they faced together like a group of friends - like a family!
    So what's yours?! ^_^

    Must be the Bleach OST

you would only hear this ost in the most badass parts of the anime.

The entire Cowboy Bebop OST collection. The New York Jazz Orchestra and the Seatbelts and Yoko Kanno all together. What's not to like?

I personally liked Escaflowne from Yokko Kano but Macross Plus will always have a place in my heart.

I have to say when she played Voices on the piano that was something truly magical. I have no other words for it.

Honorable mentions go to Record of Lodoss War and Bubblegum Crisis.

    A 3-way tie between Soro no Woto(2010), Haibane renmei(2000) and Gunslinger girl(2003)
I doubt any of them will be topped any time soon(it took 7 years for something close to GsG to come out).

    SnW

    HB

    GsG

Honourable mention to 'Saki - Kami no Ryouiki(Domain of God)'(Saki's theme)

That's very difficult... Can't go wrong with Cowboy Bebop and the Seatbelts.... Everything they made was just magic.
It's like crossing an intersection. There's shit going on all over the place and you don't panic and act like an idiot then do you?

As much as I love Yoko Kanno & The Seatbelts work on Cowboy Bebop, I can't get enough of the instrumental wonder that is Nakagawa Kotaro's work on Code Geass.

Earth Girl Arjuna. The show itself is pretty awful but the soundtrack is absolutely incredible.

Also high on the list: Haibane Renmei, Niea_7, and .hack//SIGN.

When you hear this, you know things are about to get 110% more badass!

My favourite complete OST is probably either FLCL (because The Pillows rock!) or Cowboy Bebop.
A smart man puts his money on the horse with the best odds...a wise man doesn't waste his money gambling on an outcome he has no control over.

Noir OST: Canta Per Me (by Yuki Kajiura) - great example of the most amazing music I have ever heard in animation media. This anime, its music and whole atmoshphere was THE reason I started to watch anime as an adult:

    - Italian lyrics and English translation of Canta Per Me: http://www.animelyrics.com/anime/noir/cantaperme.htm

Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence - OST (by Kenji Kawai) - most arresting opening I have ever seen or heard in any anime:

Other anime music I keep remembering very often (I couldn't tell you why though):

    GANZ opening theme: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JJYLBzBh4ZI
Midori no Hibi's ending theme ("Mousukoshi... Mousukoshi"): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qJZ66SCfA4c
Mushishi's opening theme (Ally Kerr - "The Sore Feet Song"): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AapZE-LHUdI

Trying to pick one favourite anime OST EVER is like trying to divide by 0

THIS SEASON I really like the Watamote OP and END songs (these vids have ENG subs, 720p high quality... I like to upload good quality shizzle :P ).

I am a sucker for an orchestral score, I just love the atmosphere you get with it, so I'm picking Evangelion, it just had that tension, excitement, and larger than life feeling I remember from watching Saturday morning cartoons as a kid

magmadiver probably best exemplifies what I'm talking about

Agreed. Also, the sad songs have a ton of emotion in them. The happy songs uplift you. They did a fantastic job eliciting emotion with the music throughout the entire anime.

This song is the perfect example:
