Solace for Holy is a bad joke, anything BUT Insanity for Shadow is laughable; the same goes for FDCL and Holy. (Or possibly Mindbender). Disc can pick Solace for Heavy atonement, or Mindbender if you're doing something else. It's a pretty decent tier, really. Solace needs to be better for Holy, and FDCL needs to be revamped for Shadow.

Even if you're not heavy atonement as disc, Solace is still vastly superior to mindbender, it's a decent heal that gives you mana and evangelism, and AA is something every single disc priest should be using, even if you're not dpsing your way through an encounter, those 5 stacks are an absolute must.

Solace is generally better, but sometimes you need to bubble spam. And in that case Mindbender is far superior.

Another thing to remember is that Solace isn't affected by the 10% atonement nerf. So for disc it's an HPS increase as well as a regen increase over Mindbender.

You should most definitely be using FDCL as Holy come 5.4... 2pc, serendipity buff, etc.
