Pfft I still think y'all are overestimating how good the Abaddon fractal will be and under estimating the potential of the massive Inquest explosion.

Since you have to stop several inquest explosions already in the game...

While tears in the fabric of space/time are fun and all, actually seeing the human gods in-game (and not just as statues or avatars) should make for a good time

Yea... I just am concerned with how involved we really can be in a war between gods, seems like our roles would be minimal. While the Inquest is actually pertinent to what is going on in the Living Story now, and finding out what they were studying is probably important considering they still have the energy core they were using there in their control. I should have a long post going up on Gamebreaker sometime today talking about possibilities of both (on the longish side) but those are my thoughts in a nutshell. I wish there was some way to petition Arenanet to do Fall of Abaddon as a full dungeon somewhere instead. That would probably allow for a more full telling of the story than what we would end up with in a Fractal.

Ah yes, and there's the rub. The Fall of Abaddon is much more interesting, IMO, from a historical perspective, while the reactor is more relevant to the current world. But what seals it for me is that, while I'm a fan of the Asura, the humans of Tyria mean more to me, likely due to the 8 years of GW1

The Aetherizied weapons came out and no rapier [&AgGzqQAA]. God damnit ANet. At least this saves me time on grinding the Candidate Trials.

I only played for about 2-3 weeks after the game released but my favorite part about my entire experience with GW2 was that Hunger Royale during the beta. Maybe I'll log back in to do it again.

Challenge complete! Time to go for lvl 4 solo I guess

Nice going! I haven't tried it out as yet but just reading the official forums, phase 3 solo is supposed to be hard.

Congrats. Which profession did you use, was it the ranger one you told me about? Also how hard did you find it to solo, stressful any?

    I just did t4 too.

I used my ranger with a SB condi burst build relying heavily on survival skills (QZ, SS, MT) with "smart use of game mechanics".

Once you know what to use it's OK, I slipped up at the start a bit making it a tad more challenging although not all that much.
It's important to note that I only kill about 20 enemies though.

Love the gun skins. Not fussed on the dagger (why can't they seem to make many interesting ones? still using the Christmas skins for that red swishy bit :P). Might try to get the GS for my Guardian.

The sword is probably the one I want for my warrior, matches great, but that hammer is just great.

Interesting. I wonder how that would be put in since they already have an Aetherblade sword skin. It would be nice as a direct buy out of the Gem store like the Rox and Braham skins. I'm ready to buy 3 of them right away.

The rapier skin isn't worth gems to me. I thought it'd look cute with T2 human cultural, but not that cute.

Those weapon skins are not quite what I expected. Looks like I'll be saving my keys.

OMG ellen kiel mini game is so boring. Plus the reward is boring (an ugly backpack, it's literally a backpack!) and since she is a boring person all around I suspect her fractal would be boring too.
