[Mage] Help!

So, I've been playing 3s in different comps this season but not over 1850 rating. Would like some hints in what to improve to hit 2k and beyond. I notice some mistakes that I do while watching my video, but I can't get them all. Any high rated mages/players who can help out?

Molten Armor against meelecleaves (or hunter+meele) with glyph, already the first fight you ran with magic armor and against the rogue/hunter team with frost armor. Dont use it in pvp. Magic armor vs caster, molten armor vs physical dmg.
You also keep staying open field while open field, start running with your priest around the pillar (so you can also take the traps).
Playing with frostbomb against enemies that stick on you all the time is pretty hard too so go with living bomb.
then such things as timing your orb with your mates cds, pom poly when you go with cds on healer, alter time for dps when you got all proccs up, etc
