What will happen at level 100?

I would like level 100 as a number just in the sense if I am level 67, I am 67% of the way there! Level wise, not exp wise. I just like the "evenness" of it.

Ultimately though, I don't think Blizzard will care or do anything special for it.

Nothing, Blizzard themselves have said it's just a number. There's nothing special about it that couldn't happen for other level caps.

At the same time, they said that a few years back. Things change. Who knows, maybe they are going to plan something special. Time will tell.

My guess would be that at level 100 we will see 3-5 new raids, maybe a new bg or two, and a new arena. Plus a couple max level questing zones.

Last I checked, they were slated for a solid number of 6 expansions. We are currently on 4 (1. BC, 2. WotLK, 3. Cata, 4. MoP)

At level 100, everything will be reset to level 10 and the WOW movie will launch.

So anyone can start in WOW 2 with a lvl 10 (old players at max level) or at lvl 1 (new players not at max level).

Why do you think Titan was put on hold until after this new restart and movie launch ???

Come to think of it: it would even be logical as WOW these days (and certainly at level 100) is MUCH too complicated and big to be played by a total NOOB.

And the movie will be a boost to noobs. So they better have a reset/streamline by then .

By that point I hope they have a catch-up mechanic for leveling if you've already leveled one character from 1 to 100. Otherwise people are going to start crying

XP gets nerfed every expansion. 2-3 days of leveling is not fast enough?
