The only reason Durumu has a reputation of being difficult is because the guilds who tackled him early in the progression race didn't have near the amount of gear we have now.
It's really one of the easiest bosses, especially if you have an Ele Shaman, Warlock, or Fire Mage facerolling the ice walls.
