Strongest Race/Class combination for PvE

So I've been away from WoW for a while and just decided to come back, so I have no idea what the strongest classes are now.

You can't really say there is a strongest class. They each have weaknesses and advantages against certain encounters. Just play what you enjoy.

I think it would be either pandaren or troll being the strongest race for pve ?

Strong classes atm seem to be warlocks, shamans, rogues (when you get gear ofc)

To answer your question literally, I do believe the race/class combination which is strongest is Orc Hunter :-P

But the classes are only as strong as the player
