It will be the Burning legion next expansion. There's no way they will add in the entire South Seas, but we will most likely have some of the islands introduced to us.

Why does everyone think ogres are going to be playable?
Blizzard once thought about getting ogres as a race, but said they had too much problems figuring out how a female ogre would look like.
Seriously... How would a female ogre look like?
They never said they had too much trouble figuring anything out, only that they got to the point of figuring out what female ogres would look like in considering Ogres as a playable race for Cataclysm.
That they were considered shows that Blizzard would like to make them playable.
This with fewer arms and faces.Seriously... How would a female ogre look like?
You mean
?Let's talk speculations
I'm thinking a dual boss xpac is in order. Kind of a choose your own adventure. After the first zone you either go south seas and play out that story line or you can take door #2 and play through the legions initial invasion story. Both paths would lead up to the appropriate and respective 6.0/6.1 raids. This could also be a return of attunements where you have to finish the main story line to open up that side of the stories raid. 6.2 would bring us into 1 massive(12-14) boss raid to wrap up south seas and N'zoth's story. 6.3 would be a huge push of massive legion forces, similar to the current barrens patch then 6.4 we do a massive legion raid finishing with a fight on an avatar of sargeras. 6.5 would be us prepping to take the fight to sagares and the legion directly by prepping to to go to argus. Then 7.0 we board out spaceships to go fuck shit up on the legions main front.
In other words, the Azshara Xpac. I'm leanign this way myself. We might get some legion presence, but not a major one.
I'm not so certain. Blizzard doesn't seem too enamoured of the "Neutral" race idea.As far as races, Naga is imo the best bet for newest Neutral race. I think they are going to continue the neutral race model
Not really. Those were and are options, neutral or not.this opens up a bunch of different race options players have wanted for ages. Naga, Ogres, Centaur, Ethereal, Aarokoa, Tuskaar, Vrykul
Not really expecting a class this time round. Viable classes? As for classes?
Tinker (Steam warrior tank, Gunman Ranged DPS (Guns), TechnoMage Spell DPS or Alchemist/Medic healer [for INT Mail])
Warden (Melee DPS, Tank, Physical Ranged DPS(Bows))
Not really viable IMO. Too much overlap with Warlocks,Lastly for classes is the big monkey in the room, bloody Demon-hunters.

Well Id rather not say that Pandaria was a "joke" expansion again. Its been said enough times.. however it wasn't very serious and it wasn't sinister enough. I think the next expansion desperately needs that "end of the world" feeling not a few jolly pandas drinking home made booze and fighting funny looking Asian spirits. I think TBC and Wrath themes were very popular, Even Cata was expected but they made a few bad choices after it's release.
So South Seas now could mean death for WoW. It's only got one thing going, the pirate theme. Maybe after the next Pirates of the Caribbean movie is released but not now! Seeing as theyve already exhausted the whole undead, cold, viking, north storyline, the only right way to go would be burning crusade.
It would be really strange to me for the next expansion to be about the legion and forget about azshara one of the strongest beings on the planet of not the strongest.
If they go with the legion and basicly leave the last ''demi-god'' powerful being on Azeroth (Azshara) to please the masses, that'd be kind of a shame. But whatever, what ever it is, the forums will bitch about it anyway.
I think it will be either emerald dream or south seas tbh
Dawn of the aspects takes place in both present day and the past. Kalec finds an artifact that shows him vision later on. However at the start, the unempowered aspects talk about stuff.
Also non-druids can enter the dream like in Stormrage. There are four great trees across Azeroth since classic that have portals that go to the Dream. Tyrande uses it even in Stormrage.
It's set in the present day, but with lot of the story being told in flashbacks to the past. Sometime after the Hour of Twilight, Kalecgos meets up with the other former aspects to try and convince them not to disband the Wymrest Accord, but the other aspects are set in their views that a union of dragons is useless and that the mortals should now shoulder the responsibility of keeping things in check; Timewalkers are maintaining the time-ways and Druids are protecting the Dream, and it's mentioned that the Nightmare has spread again.
Keeper Remulos ports players of all classes into the Emerald Dream in a quest in Wrath, and players travel into the Dream to escort Fandral to safety in Hyjal. Alisria Dreamwalker ports players into the dream too as a fight mechanic. There are four portals to the Emerald Dream that have been left unguarded for a while now.
In Classic, Malfurion appeared in Moonglade telling Remulos to prepare the mortal races to enter the dream.
It's not that it's impossible for other classes to enter the dream, they can enter it's just that they don't themselves know how.
I feel like it'll turn out to be something completely unexpected. Much like MoP (pre-trademark). But if they're smart, and if we're lucky, they'll do Burning Legion, or something similar leading up to it.
Man, I've got bags under my eyes... BAGS OF MONEY!
See ya later, peasants.
Praise The Sun!
I don't care what theme they chose or if they are going to add a new class/race. What I want to see is rolling back many of the garbage features they have added in MoP. They need to open up the game at end game like they did during Wrath/Cata. No more insane gating, daily grinding. We need more dungeons not useless filler content like scenarios/challenge mode which cater to very few people. Flex Raiding makes no sense to me they should have just made that LFR instead of having LFR. There's too many difficulties per raid. Nobody likes doing the same damn raid in 4 different difficulties no matter how awesome the raid is. All this says to me is we are too lazy to make catch up dungeons so we will include some new nerfed gear for pugs and people who don't like normal raiding. PvP is not even worth talking about since its pretty much broken beyond repair. So what ever Blizz decides to do I just hope they really work on the core game mechanics first instead of adding new pokemon mini-games. Pandaria was a beautiful place but it was marred by nightmarish grinding and boring linearity.
I'm not a diehard Tinker fan. I simply support Tinker as the next class because it makes the most sense. It's the only class concept that;
a. Has a corresponding WC3 hero that has no abilities in WoW.
b. Can do all three roles without deviating from lore (heal/tank/dps).
c. Covers all of the loot table holes (mail armor and ranged weaponry) without stretching the core concept.
d. Doesn't overlap thematically with any existing classes.
Good luck finding another concept that can say the same.
