    Frostheim retires :(

    http://www.warcrafthuntersunion.com/...l-good-things/

As it says in the above article, Frostheim is retiring from blogging about hunters.

I'm sure I speak for the entire hunter community, when I say, we'll miss you, and hope you have a great time with any projects in the future

What a shame I learned a lot from him through whu site and videos. I'm sorry to see him leave the community.

Might have made sense in the Druid forum...

I wondered why there wasn't anything new recently on scattered shots.

Remember reading his stuff when I just started raiding, haven't as much since MoP/Cata but his content was pretty good from what I remember.

That's pretty crazy - Frostheim did a lot for the hunter community and has been around for a very long time.

    You will be missed!

I know he sometimes got a bad rep because he wasn't in a world top raiding guild, but the guy loved playing a hunter and was the perfect person to talk about hunters for 90% of the people who play them.

    He'll be missed.

Don't know who he is, never been to WHU, but GL to him in the future.

Why is he retiring? Just burned out from writing, or some negative experiences?

His information helped me out a lot when I first started playing.
He had great tips for a starting player but a lot of the higher end players used to come down hard on him with the information he used to give out.

This thread makes it look as though he died ^_°

It's sad to see him go, I never mained a hunter, but always enjoyed reading his contributions, entertaining and informative. His absence will certainly leave a gap in the hunter community, I'm sure.

He has contributed so much to the hunter community that he had an item named after him in-game:

First Tabana, then Kalliope and now Frostheim... =/

This is quite a hardhitting blow to the hunter community. I can easily say that Frostheim is one of those bloggers out there whom helped me become the hunter I am today.

lol yea I can see why they came down hard on him, just checked his website and lol'd, I know it's mostly outdated, but even from when it was made, pretty sure I seen somewhere where he suggested to use lynx rush for aoe situations in pve. which he posted in 5.2, not even really that long ago.
