Rooney is going back to the role he played during Ronaldo's time, he's not an out and out striker, he's far better in a Paul Scholes role.
Welbeck just doubled his goal tally for all of last season.Ex-Mod. Technically retired, they just won't let me quit.

Rooney was indeed crucial in the last 2 United goals, if he can keep that form up and I hope he stays at United (which Moyes has said will be the case, multiple times).

So 4-1 start, the away at Swansea fixture done with, transfer window isn't closed yet, top of the league. And the best bit about today hasn't even happened..
Tonight I get to watch Match of the Day without that f##king "AGUEEERROOOOOOO" start
Ex-Mod. Technically retired, they just won't let me quit.

Pretty decent game by United. I just don't see why people dislike Rooney, I liked him as a striker and now as a centre forward. He was crucial in the 2 last goals. Now to wait a whole day before Madrid plays...

Congratulations to all the teams who won! ...I'm still waiting for our asses to be handed at us by Man.City, but let's hope our squad can get something out right. :/ ..Regardless, Newcastle home games vs fulham and west ham sound good enough for atleast 1 draw 1 win. (Hopefully 2 wins! ..unfortunately, probably 2 draws.)

Rooney wants to be the centrepiece striker, he's a brilliant player (when he's motivated, the issue is a lot of the time he simply isn't) but he doesn't have the consistency or hunger to be that man. This gets him dropped on performance, that gets him sulky and he gets worse. Originally Posted by Norganon

Gabby Agbonlahor is going to have a great season if he stays fit. He's a proper good little player, like Bent when he was a bit younger.
Looks like Arsenal are going to get some abuse. Saying that United got stomped by Felani first game of last season.
