    Upgrading and need advice...

    Hey all

It's that time again.. I need to upgrade some, and I need a bit of advice...

    Atm I've got a ASUS mobo with a i5-2500K, and a MSI GTX 560Ti, 16Gb RAM...

I've been looking at upgrading all those parts, but since I live in NORWAY shit's expensive yo!

So, could I skip the mobo and CPU upgrade and just go for a GTX 780, or should I go for all 3 parts and get a i5-4670K and GTX 770?

    Thanks in advance...

Edit: Forgot to mention I'm running Win7 on a SSD, so I think that's enough

Need more informations. What games do you usually play? What resolution do you play them on?

A 780 is generally useless unless you're talking about triple monitors or 2560x1440p resolution, if neither is the case just go for a 770.

Is your processor overclocked? If not, buying a heatsink to overclock it and save leftover money for a future upgrade will be much better, you aren't going to get noticeable performance gains switching to haswell from sandy, at least not worth the money you'd have to invest. If yes, just save leftover money.

I'd say just get the GPU. I have a hard time recommending anyone upgrade their Sandy cpu's at a $380 price tag for a 15% increase.
