The formatting of all these exactly matches the Dark Below, though, unlike the known hoaxes. Possible the Dark Below hoaxer was just better at details, though.

1. It was a hoax
2. You can trademark whatever for whomever (which you can't)
3. We get a new trailer to discuss

Additional nugget to ponder: Since this "trademark application" isn't appearing on the search, someone would have had to of emailed the link to Boubouille. Who could have possibly done that that he would have believed enough to actually post it as confirmed? I assume these people taht run this site know their shit.

It is a hoax, you can tell it from the image of the "trailer". The "video" is not aligned with the rest of the image of the site, also the video title is not aligned. Bad photoshopping.

The image was made by a guy who was responding to the alleged trademark. He's admitted his part. The actual trademark annoucenment is unclear.

Again, raining balls of green fire means that we have infernals dropping out of the sky DURING the Pandaria expansion. That would mean that the next expansion begins DURING the Pandaria expansion.

Blizzard doesn't end expansions in that fashion. Expansion level events like that always happen in the new expansion's patch. In this case, that would be 6.0.

Like I said, the Skysunder is an example of a good hoax. The Dark Below? Not so much.

Okay, you are creating your own thing here with assuming what would happen. There are no actual fireballs from the sky, nothing has shown anything about that, and you dunno what "skysunder" means. It could be an event, it could be an airship, it could be the new elemental shaman talent. You just. Don't. Know. And that is my point - that nobody fucking knows! And that the Skysunder pic is not so easily discredited as you suggest for any of the reasons you've brought up thus far.

So why do the Naga and the Legion have to be separate expansions? Azshara opened the portal for the Legion once, why not again? It's quite possible, considering she is still considered one of the most powerful witches/mages, if not the most powerful. Gives us variety and lots of story. Azshara and the naga, Legion, and possible old god madness.

An Azshara expansion would likely have a bit of Legion influence given her past. A Legion expansion would not likely have Azshara in it as the Legion itself has little to actually do with her. They did change her. She did not change them as much.

That'd be a neat concept really, the entire expansion taking place underneath Azeroth. It would really give the entire expansion a "Underdark" theme to it, which I think would be quite welcome.

It would also give them an excuse to start working on Undermine as well, which could serve as a neutral city...

There is a lot of potential with that theme.

The talk isn't about the image, but the trademark. If I wanted to, I could have photoshopped a fake Pandaria picture after MoP was trademarked. Would that have made MoP a hoax?

Yeah, but that city is actually underwater (that's Ny'alotha)

Also undermine is an underground city that's in an island, so if a Naga expansion come out we will see both of those things (and many others island like Kultira)

The trademark for Reaper of Souls doesn't exist, either. Yet Blizz touts it as the D3 expansion and calls it trademarked on the D3 site.

The trademark exists in a foreign country, possibly Swaziland, where they obtain a 6-month priority should they seek to move that trademark into the US.

It's possible Boub got a leaked screenshot of the US Priority filing, was told to release it in mid september, and let it go early.

It's also possible TDB is a hoax sent from a fake email to Boub.

But there is no concrete proof to say TDB is fake at this time.
