Looked good, but I knew exactly what was gonna happen the second I saw the men beating the woman. Complete with the mix of slowed time sped up moves.

Didn't help or hurt my decision regarding if I'll pick up W3. I never finished the 2nd one as I found it boring and generally unfun. Still taking a wait and see approach.

Imo, the new d3 movie is better. Not saying the witcher movie is bad, its pretty good, but still for me not on par with blizzard movies. Blizz always had a special feeling for details, even pre wow game movies were on top for the time they were created.

That would be the first two games. It's pretty common to do a sale like that in an effort to boost sales of the newest installment of a series.

Just be warned, the combat in the first is very sluggish. I guess it'll give you an appreciation of how well the second plays though

Hate it. Here we have some soldiers? who is in the process to hang a woman. Maybe the charge is false, and she did not murder and eat people and totally innocent. But neither Witcher(s) or the player know what is truth.

So what are the writers doing? a black and white situation so the Witcher can still claim the moral high ground.

The soldiers need to be mugs who love there work to much (cant think that the soldiers make false charges to have a excuse to hang somebody, so they actually believe they are doing the morality right thing) Witcher begin to cast magic and beat the soldiers in a non-fatal why, he is the freaking Witcher, he can knock them unconscious or kill them on the spot if he really want it, but the writer need the soldier to pull out ther blades first so Witcher can kill in "Self Defense".... no soldier scream like a pig or help/mammy when they are shopped down but they all die nice and clean...no witnesses who need to be deal with.

Mature game is the shade of gray ... not make moral "easy"

What i always tell to my foregin friends is to play Witcher with polish dubbing and english subs . The polish voice acting fits perfectly to The Witcher...english one is....too english

I'm polish and I strongly prefer english dub. Polish one sounds too "tryhard", especially with accents, compared to english which has more natural flow. Also the delivery of the english dub is better imo. It's like early Solid Snake voice from Hayter compared to his Big Boss. One is natural and the other reeks of trying too hard. The "killing monster" lines sounds like a generic threat or comment in polish but in english, you can clearly hear anger, hate and cynicism. It gave me mad goosebumps.

That said, the trailer is epic even though it doesn't show anything regarding story other than the grey areas and moral choices which should be major part of the game (which I love, nothing works immersion as good as having to make a choice that isn't black/white scenario).

Best part is the music though. This piece after monster killing line is insane and I hope that it will be in the game.
