    Hearthstone Beta keys..

Are being sold for over $250.00 each.
I wonder why blizzard didn't tie them into battle.net accounts.
You think it is worth that much?

Ridiculous that anyone would bother paying it.

The freakin game is free once it releases. Free!

    Would you sell yours?

I almost regret giving away my second.

No. $250 isn't much money anyway.

For a free game? I think it is way to much.

So if my understanding is correct we have some contradicting going on here. Saying a game that will end up being f2p when it comes out isn't worth spending $250 on to play the beta but at the same time saying if they were to get a key they value said key above $250 because they would not sell it, seems kinda funny.

I'd sell that thing in a heartbeat if it was valued anywhere near that considering when the game goes live it's just going to be free anyway. Hey that money I could get by selling it could also go right back into the game when it goes live so it would be like free money anyway. I'd honestly question who wouldn't sell a beta key if they got one and knew how much they sold for considering the game will be free. Just seems silly to pass up so much free money that could also wind up going back into the game when it hits live rather than hold onto the key and let any progress towards getting cards in it be for nothing.

I thought they said they would do a final wipe during beta and then anything after that you could keep going into live?

You know... I've played this game since Vanilla, and still have NEVER gotten a damn beta invite. I've signed up for all of the betas, I've yet to get an official invite. I have all the collector's editions too. I don't understand why I'm never chosen, but yet, I continuously see people getting 2 invites or more. sigh

I'd sell mine in a heartbeat if I got one.

I still can't believe that its an actual game and not some practical joke.

During the course of the Hearthstone closed beta, card collections and game progress will be reset, and any cards participants acquired will be removed. Following the wipe, players who made a purchase from the in-game store will receive a gold credit equivalent to their previous card pack and/or Arena purchases. Also, as a thank you for testing out the in-game store during Hearthstone’s beta phase, everyone who purchased a card pack in the beta test will receive a Golden Legendary card.

I hung onto mine; the datamined Hearthsteed has my hopes up.

I'm actually not doing very well with the game, but it was fun before I started getting my head handed to me.

So we have YouTube'rs with a pretty much guaranteed beta key, and people who are pulling this off..

Unless its a coincidence that YouTube'rs are getting them.

-_- All I wanna do is test the game.

I don't think they would give away a WoW mount to only people who participate in the closed beta since it is random who gets an invite. More likely they would give it out during an open beta phase or as promotion for spending a certain amount of money once the game goes live.

woo .. this game is fun, just picked mine up for $400

this game is taking over twitch also.. Reckful had almost 20k viewers when he started playing it. All the top streamers are addicted.

The thing that bugs me the most is its not really a beta the game has as far as I have seen less bugs then released blizz games and they specifically targeted streamers and youtubers basically turning the "beta" is a giant pr stunt and then you get these people selling keys when the majority of people that didn't get keys are actually interested in testing the game so the few bugs can be fixed and it can be released quicker.
