Burning legion theme in 5.4 soundtrack?

So I was listening to the Soundtrack "Legendary" from patch 5.4 and saw a comment at the bottom that intrigued me. He said the main theme of the track was actually in the "Dark Portal theme". I looked it up and surely he was right.

The theme at :15 in "legendary" is the same theme at :50 in "The Dark portal theme". I cant post the videos yet but go take a look. Its pretty interesting.

The Cinematic Intro movie theme is the one im talking about. Not the login screen.

Thanks for that. It's hard for me to tell because of the massive uptick in music quality since BC but I do acknowledge that Trumpet Fanfare and Female Chorus was kind of a hallmark of BC music.

I don't think this really proves anything, myself.

It's similar, but not the same. Composers do occasionally borrow themes from themselves. It sounds to me like that is the case here.

I won't lie, it sounds Legion-ish. But it probably doesn't relate to The Legion.

I agree with it not relating to anything with the legion. I personally think its just a direct link to Wrathions questline and how he is always going on about it.

Uhm, that's not the same theme, you know. And even if it was. You guys need to stop with these ridiculous interpretations. You'll just end up being completely disappointed if the expansion turns out to be something totally different. Oh, have you seen that? There a hill formation on the Endless Isle that kinda looks like an L. There you have it, it's the return of the legion!

Why should anyone "hint" at the burning legion or whatever in a piece composed for 5.4. It doesn't make the slightest sense.
