Fury Warrior dps help please!

Hey Friends,

I play Fury, Single Minded Fury to be exact, and currently I'm barely pulling over 100k dps in ToT 10m, with a minimum being 79-84 dps. I've tried going to several different sites for help, I've downloaded addo ons to help with my rotation, and still nothing. I'm at a loss.

I can't post links for whatever reason, but look up Carthull on Undermine on ask mr robot or something to take a look at my gear. If anyone has any idea how to increase my dps to be doing a decent amount that would be swell.

Just auditing your armory, I don't see anything too bad, your trinkets are pretty garbage, but they shouldn't hold you back to the point of pulling 80k DPS. Mining is a trash profession, but I guess it can fly if you aren't bleeding edge. I'd have to see logs to really see what you're doing wrong.

Hmm gear looks ok to pull about 120k dps single target. It may be rotation issue. I suggest you to open spell book and read all passives again, it may help you considering what to prioritize and when. Also, get sword in main hand and reforge 1% expertise away since you have 7.51%/8.51% currently.

Well my advice based on what data I have seen

Gear is good
Glyphs are good
Talents are good

Problem is prob. Your not allowing your rotation to benefit CS.
Using noxxic as a sample
Normal Priority:
Execute this priority when Colossus Smash is on cooldown.

**Colossus Smash to activate its debuff. Execute the Colossus Smash priority.
1)Bloodthirst on cooldown. Applies Deep Wounds.
2)Heroic Strike to dump Rage (100+).
3)Raging Blow with 2 charges.
4)Wild Strike when Bloodsurge procs.
*Battle Shout with low Rage.
*Impending Victory as a filler.
*Heroic Throw as a filler.

While cs debuff is up you must

Colossus Smash Priority:
Execute this priority during Colossus Smash.

1)Bloodthirst on cooldown. Applies Deep Wounds.
2)Execute as a Rage dump when target is below 20% health.
3)Heroic Leap when possible. Not on the GCD!
4)Heroic Strike on cooldown. Not on the GCD!
5)Raging Blow whenever available.
6)Wild Strike when Bloodsurge procs.

I believe your loss of dps is due to not maximizing the abilities during your cs CDs and ending up with a 30-40k loss dps .
Fury is all about having the right gear , and having the rotation down( very unforgiving rotation we have in this exp)

i would not recommend a 510 sword in MH vs. a 522 (should be 530!!!) axe.

hmmm, i tend to play arms when i can (not very viable atm), so i may not be up to date on the latest fury rotation, but this brings up some questions in my mind:

2) HS to dump rage as #2 priority? wouldn't you rather use wild strike w/o BS proc since it does 230% vs. 154%? if BT is on cooldown and RB is not available, i've been using WS instead of HS. is that wrong? if so, why?

3) why only use RB with 2 charges? seems like that would lead to some wasted charges (e.g. i get an enrage proc just before BT is ready.) why not use RB with 1 charge if CS is not close to being available?

If you have an open GCD before your CS w/ excess rage, that's exactly what you do.

That's only really viable with low critical rating.

You want as much rage as possible to squeeze in as many executes as possible, so keeping it on cool down helps w/ that.

HS is only really used when you don't have open GCDs, if you have one like you said that's the way to go.

Noxxic is not to be used to the dot, it's a mediocre guide from most people's point of view who aren't garbage at this class.

Fury is one if the most difficult specs (especially at lower ilvls) to play since you need to maximize RBs during CS. Try to get 3 RBs during every CS and and always be enraged during CS. This will maximize ur dps. Even with experience at couldn't do it effectively without weak auras. One tracks my enrage and one tracks my RB stacks. The closer u get to 50% crit the easier the spec gets.

That's true, i forgot to check item lvl before advicing him to swap weapons
