What is the saddest song you know?
It can be the lyrics, the style or genre, the voice or overall sound of the song, it can even be an instrumental piece.

Listen to alot of song songs for when i sleep XD
“Snow can only live in the winter. When it nears a fire, it dies. That is its life. It may yearn for summer, but… it can only desire it. In my hand, the snow becomes water, because this is not its world….”“The boundless Heavens and Earth are the final resting place of all living things. Life is like a journey, filled with various scenery, various paths.
For me its piano/violin XD

Given that you have to understand Swedish and it is a political thing, I still think it is one of the more sad songs I know.
Nothing can beat Angle by Sarah McLachlan. /thread
There are several I really like.
In no particular order:
More soothing than sad:
A bit of rock, but really like his voice:
Especially this part:
"Country, I was a soldier to you.
I did what you asked me to.
It was wrong, and you knew.
Country, now I'm just a stranger to you.
A number, a name; it's true.
Throw me away when you're through.
Home of the brave and the free; the red, white, and blue.
I wish it was true."
And an instrumental piece:
I've got to go for https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=26Se79panak.
Makes me tear up every damn time
So mnay memories that revolve around this whole song, so many person ones I wont spill here, damn this song I cant even listen to it some times lol
I love the album thats on, if you havent listened to it you should its a must
It is a concept album, with each song telling the story of the protagonist's suicide as well as his journey through the afterlife. Brilliant, even if you don't like that type of music, really under rated album.
