2H or DW 5.4

Which is going to be better for PVE in 5.4 starting out? As of right now i use the Zerat thunderforged 536 but i also have 2x shellsplitter greataxe and i have never really dual wielded before. So im just curious what would be better so i can reforge and re-gem. I forgot to mention i do play as frost

Since you aren't familiar with Dual Wield I'd probably stay 2h. However if you won't have much competition for 1h strength weapons you'll want to get used to DW simply because the single target difference b/w DW and 2h are minimal but DW crushes 2h for AoE/Cleave heavy fights.
