I never played the 3D Sonic games. Actually, I may have played a demo for whatever one was a launch title for the Dreamcast. I was working in an electronics store at the time and we messed around with the demo unit for the Dreamcast a ton.

I believe it was either Sonic 3 or Sonic and Knuckles. Unless Sonic and Knuckles is Sonic 3... Either way, wasn't impressed. Then again I have never really been the biggest fan of platformer games in general. Always a much bigger fan of RPG and strategy games. Always sucked at quick and precise controls. Prefer to think and plan out my next move.

Picked up a cheap visual novel called Carpe Diem: Reboot, that has one of my favorite voice actors in it (Caitlynn French). Also in a similar vein, grabbed Mary Skelter: Nightmare. But my bonus wasn't much and I didn't wanna spend much money. Bloodstained at 30% and Neoverse at 50% are the two I took a look at, but again, trying not to spend much. Still got a ways to go in Berseria, so I'm locked in on that for now.

Sigh...Steam always has their sales on my Rent check, so I never have any money for them.

I've heard they're quite uncomfortable to use anyway, but who knows, I just use a PS4 controller lol.

Congrats on your finds in the Steam sale. I imagine most people are pretty price savvy in this thread but it's often worth looking around before you as games are often cheaper elsewhere. If you only use authorised sellers then "is there any deal" can be useful for price comparisons.

Tons of super cheap games I kinda want to get but meh. Picked up the Shadowkeep expansion for Destiny 2 though, probably will end up being my only purchase this sale. Winter sale will be here again soon enough with as good, if not better deals.

Ya this seems like a good opportunity to snag Destiny 2, I've yet to even touch any Destiny game too so this could be fun.

Well, it is F2P so you can try it before picking up any of the paid expansions.

Well the funny thing is shipping costs more than the controller. For me it was $5 for the controller and $8 for shipping. @icedwarrior mentioned to me they saw one with $20+ shipping.

Yeah, mine came out to $12.99 total for the controller and shipping. Still not too bad, considering normal price for them was $50 (not including shipping). I figured since they're being discontinued, this was probably the time to get one if I ever wanted one.

I just bought Heroes of Might and Magic 7 - the Complete Edition for 5 Euro. Didn't hear too many positive things about the game. However, I enjoyed all the predecessors - some more, some less. And it includes HoMaM 3 HD.

The Winter Sale will most likely be in about a month. I hope they will again put it on a similar discount.

Disco Elysium is discounted so considering that. I also have my eye on Jurassic World Evolution, Druidstone, Outward and Don't Starve Together.
bought some oldies on Gog. Jazz Jackrabbit Collection 2 and Worms Armageddon. Like 2,5euro total. My friend finally bought https://store.steampowered.com/app/8...anced_Edition/ for 10e (great coop, not great solo) and another friend https://store.steampowered.com/app/5..._Vermintide_2/ (once again great coop, not great solo)

Are Destiny 2 and ESO worth picking during the sales?

Destiny 2 is F2P now, you can try it and see if you like it.

ESO is hit or miss, if you like Elder Scrolls combat you'll probably like it, it's not really my forte.

Do yourself a favor and buy Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic for 2,86€ on Steam.

If you dont mind the graphics, is a next to perfect experience...you dont even need to be a Star Wars fan
With Dungeons & Dragons mechanics/ roleplay AND a turn based combat hybrid.

If you are a RPG fan in general...you will love it. Guaranteed.

Likewise, I'd also recommend grabbing the second game, Knight of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. Unfortunately, it's still not quite as solid or polished as the first game, and there's even a couple of game-breaking bugs to this day, but I would still wholeheartedly recommend it. It has one of THE best stories of any Star Wars-related media I've yet consumed, including the original KotOR.

It's also just as cheap as the first game on Steam right now, so you might as well grab both if you've got the spare cash for it.

Before I moved to Arizona I sold a lot of my hex-based paper/cardboard wargames from SPI/Avalon Hill. We didn't room for them and our condo isn't even close on having the space to set them up. So I'm thinking of buying some stuff from the current Steam Sale that will feed that itch. There's a Classic Wargames bundle that looks OK and I've been wanting to pick up Panzer Corps and some of the extra scenarios for a while now. The rest of the list is pretty simple. Grim Dawn expansions and I'll probably pick up some rogue-likes that are cheap.

Also looking at something like Railroad Empire. Haven't bought anything from Steam in a while so now's probably the time.

Panzer Corps is pretty decent. W40K: Armageddon as well maybe?

Yeah, maybe. That looks pretty good. I put it on my wishlist. Thanks.

I've still got a bunch of old SSI games that I can run in a DosBox but I haven't tried to set them up lately.
