Hey, can anyone else who claims Epic's free weekly games check their account and see if they still have Ape Out? I know I claimed it because I even sent a friend a message about it, but it's no longer in my library. It was free sometime in December iirc.

I honestly doubt they would..
Would probably just tell you that you didn't claim it and shut the ticket down. Hell, Steam would too (if you hadn't booted up the game so it shows up in the activity log)

Still have it in mine as well. Double check your transaction tab on your account to see if it was added to the payment history and then reference that when you contact them. Though if it isn't there they probably will just claim it wasn't claimed.

Those are definitely not emails I ever save.

Still have it in mine as well. Double check your transaction tab on your account to see if it was added to the payment history and then reference that when you contact them. Though if it isn't there they probably will just claim it wasn't claimed.

yeah it's not in my transaction history either (didn't realise free games went there or would have checked first) provided I'm correct in remembering it as december so something must have happened to stop the transaction from finalising. I'm annoyed I didn't notice that since I literally messaged a friend to tell her it was free and she would like the game.

Bleh. Oh well. It's not a huge deal -- the game just looked like some brainless fun I could use right now -- but I also wasn't sure if it was just Epic being buggy, which is a believable scenario, which is why I asked in case anyone else had the same experience.

Looks like Ape Out was apart of the 12 Days of Christmas thing they did where they gave out a free game every day leading up to the end of the year. I got Ape Out on Dec. 23rd 2019. Maybe you just forgot to actually log on to grab it since it would have only been free that one day or something. Bummer. It's too bad there is no way to gift games since I already had Ape Out from Twitch Prime as well.

Picked nothing before you can always go back, how that will work once we enter the next year i don't know but there's no time limit so far i am aware.

I found it buried somewhere in their FAQ (cos I wasn't sure myself) but now I can't find it. It was somewhere weird when I did find it.
