    MMO-Champion on mobile devices

I'd like to preface this suggestion by saying thanks to the entire MMO-Champion team for their hard work in bringing us WoW fans quick, accurate and comprehensive news regarding the game.

My suggestion pertains to the embedded videos on the front page of the website. When I peruse the site on my PC I can view them just fine, but I am unable to play the videos on my iPad or another iOS device and I presume that's because the videos are based on flash.

Therefore, my suggestion is, if possible, to use HTML5 or some other standard for these videos, so that the fullest potential of this site can be experienced on mobile devices not running flash.

    Thank you

I was just about to create a topic, but saw this thread..

On MMO-C, embedded videos NEVER show on iPad. There is just a big empty space.

Every other webpage I visit, embedded videos show without problems..
    Fact (because I say so): TBC > Cata > Legion > ShaLa > MoP > DF > BfA > WoD = WotLK

We embed videos with Flash, your devices don't support Flash.

Could it be changed to non-flash, then?

When every other website can embed youtube etc without flash, then MMO-C should be able to do it too..

Then my suggestion would be to remedy that. The videos will look better & sound better plus you will not need a plugin to run it.

And lastly, everyone will be able to use your site for information, regardless of whether they're home or away.

The last few days, I've noticed, that you have worked on this issue.
A frame from the video is show as preview.. So far, so good..

However, when you click the video, you are redirected off-site (e.g. http://mash.network.coull.com/activa...m%2Fcontent%2F for the SoO currently on front page) Then you click the video again to,play and get the following mesage: "This video is currently unavailable" and below a link called "Learn More" showing this:
    Video player error message

An error message on the video could mean one of the following things:

A video is in the process of being uploaded.
Your Internet connection speed is slow or inconsistent.
A video is being removed, or having other issues.
    Troubleshooting tips

In most cases the video should work again in about 30 minutes. If the video still doesn’t work after that time, below are a few troubleshooting tips that may fix the issue. After trying each tip, check whether the video is working.

    Refresh your browser's page.
Change your video's quality to a lower setting. Wait for the buffer bar to start growing before clicking play in the video player and switching back to your preferred setting.
Try closing other tabs if you have multiple tabs open in your browser.
Upgrade your browser to the most recent version.
Update your Flash Player. You may need to install the latest version of Flash player in order to view the video.
    Enable Javascript in your browser.
Clear cache and cookies and restart your browser before accessing your video again.
Try viewing the video on a different browser or computer, if you can.
Video being uploaded? Nope.. It's the same after several days..
Slow connection? 12Mb can't be considered slow..
Video being removed? I doubt it....

    So, what's going on?

Ya I'll pull into this and say it's a little glitchy. Video shows up like as the last thing (5 seconds after) page loads, and when you click it it kind of takes up the whole screen and loads. The loading is a bitch though. I hope it's not my internet but sometimes it stays on that circle that spins waiting to load. I wouldn't really call it reliable. It worked like 1/3 times I used it.

    Otherwise it's a nice feature.

Btw I'm talking about my iPad, not my phone, for this.

WTB mobile site with proper formatting.

Having to constantly scroll and squint is getting old.
