I think rogues deserve some love and a major class overhaul since they really didn't change much throughout the expansions. Also, Good there are less dks now since hopefully all the bad players from the DK class are gone and only the good ones left. To this day I see frost tanks in lvl 60-65 dungeons... And also thanks for opening the sub forums

So it took massive dumbing down of warlocks to become popular. k

The 5.0 affliction was an abomination and a 180 degree change from everything that spec was gameplay wise. I find it horrible to change something that worked perfectly well for the sake of populism.

I understand that a lot of old locks love the new design, but imo its a big disappointment.

Why didn't you open a forum for [insert game here] when you opened one for [insert similar game here]??? [insult here]
This was funny because it's true. I giggled.

In all honesty, when they teach grammar and the parts of English in school these days, in addition to verbs, nouns, prepositions, etc., you would think that there's a defined requirement to add some sort of an insult to make a statement complete.

Judging from the reactions to the Kanrethad fight on all the forums alone, a lot of them probably rolled locks. :|

    Imo, it depends.
I think the new destro is fine, the new affli, however, isn't.

I think what a lot of you are missing about the rogues is that this sample size is a little off. How many people made a rogue just to get the legendary daggers because DS was so easy you could pug it at the end of the xpac. Rogues were mostly built as alts back then, and with how alt unfriendly MOP has been they never even bothered to level them up again.

    Look what it took.

All melee need some form of viable ranged damage, obviously not as strong as ranged but something other than throw, we have access to ST through talents but if you select that over Anticipation it's a huge loss. Anticipation is so incredible (and one of my favorite talents) but it makes the others completely worthless in PvE.

I don't agree that we need a full overhaul but we spend a lot of time spamming the same abilities with tons of time spent waiting, that needs to be fixed. That and the fact that we get slaughtered against mobs unless you overgear them, recup doesn't heal for garbage nor does leeching poison.
Locks got some love and then they had some of it reverted only made a 1% increase overall.

yep rogues need an overhaul. imo give rogues a tanking spec. or something. anything. its the same moves/style for 9 years now. locks got an overhaul. it worked well. raiding with a rogue is so mind numbing.

LOL... way to ´analyze´ the data. The answer to your question is right in front of your eyes...

Then we'll get a lot of apologies and hand-wringing, followed by a couple of years of abilities in old raids being tweaked to try and clean up the mess.
I don´t think you understand where the ´squish´ will come. People think it will be a linear thing... but it won´t be.. what they are going to do is basically make the ilvl of LK raids the same as the ilvl of Naxx raids. In other words, the end of tier raids will have the same, or nearly similar ilvl as the first tier raids. Without that raid gear progression for past expansion, a huge chuck of ilvls can be removed. The net effect is that the last raid of an expansion will be slightly easier for people to solo than it is now.. but at lvl 100, LK 25 will be faceroll either way.

    Explain how that is.

The other part is Monks. I remember in LK, a similar graph showed that warriors took the biggest hit because of DKs. My guess is that rogues and feral druids had the highest amount of people rerolling monks.

and as you said, rogues were artificially inflated at the end of Cata because of the legendaries.
