Pretty sure it was which ever one closed your eyes and /soothe. Basically I made my boyfriend get his catgirl the right swimsuit (he got the ugly one), then made him stand there while I figured out how to make it work. Get both to close eyes, and only one to /soothe. You need to be pretty close and fairly even or else you'll meld into the other persons body and look like a sausage. Don't know if it'll work for anyone other than catgirls. It also helped that we picked the shortest height for our ladies.

Tried to get it during ingame daytime, but impatience and the fact it took a while it get it perfect, I just dealt with night. =]

Soothe doesn't seem to be it, been trying to kiss my catgirlboyfriend and I can't seem to get it to work again either due to placement or apparently not knowing the emote for it. >=[ Made him stand there for a while to try to get it again but I'm clearly missing some combo of emotes I did to make it work.
