Earthquakes happening again?

What zones/areas are people in when they notice this happening? if this is a subtle sign of something big that Bliz put in and wanted the player base to uncover it would be flipping amazing

Haven't noticed earthquakes in either expansion... wtf. Some people have too much time.

the cata-earthquakes were part of the pre-expansion event

3. Azshara is raising land from the ocean
4. The Legion is opening portals.

As iamthedevil said above me, the earthquake generator thingies have been in the game for quite a while. Datamining wouldn't pick up on them being placed in the world again.

I wonder if Bliz even left them in the game for this specific purpose :O so they could use the effect again sometime and have it be a surprise

Yep, noticed them aswell, was wondering If they really exist or I was just going crazy, guess I'm not crazy afterall!!
It might be a bug, if not then probably something to do with next expansion, if it is indeed the Dark Below I guess Azshara raising the ocean floor would cause this.

I sincerely hope that doesn't happen. It would make no sense given that Azshara has the home field advantage under the water and if Blizzard wants to avoid overloading us with underwater content like Vash'jir there are already plenty of islands they could use (Kul'tiras, Broken Isles, Kezan, Plunder Isle, Tel Abim). If it is TDB related, then I'm guessing that demons could be burrowing their way up to the surface, having gotten into Azeroth via the Rift of Aln (which is connected to the Twisting Nether).

Haven't noticed anything and been in Shrine for quite some time. I will look for them though.

It could just as easily be a 'The Ice Stone has melted' kind of bug as it might be something 'big'. Not noticed anything though.

its probably still coded in and has ingame trigger events.

Can we get a clear concise description of where you were and what happened to the people who were effected? Was it minor screen shaking? Sound accompanying it? Etc.

I've noticed my screen shaking a few times OP, I'm curious as to what we'll see next, or if it's just what's going on in the Vale, since I've only noticed it in the Shrine.

The cataclysm earthquakes where pretty cool. At first they were so small you weren't sure if they were real or if you were being paranoid.

^this. i started seeing them as early as the ICC patch and people thought i was crazy. it made me feel way more sane when blizzard came out and said much later that they had put them in in that patch just very small.

as for new earthquakes? i havent seen anything. i also highly doubt they would use the same thing twice like that especially so close together. but who knows. ill keep an eye out.

there is certainly something going on, orgrimmar has this new weather effect looks like wind carrying sand



edit: it is not graphic setting being low, mine is on ultra with GTX 780
