Kosak was responding to people on Twitter about Jaina by insisting that she's a good guy.
Her whole "rue the day" thing sounds more like a Saturday morning cartoon villain, so I assume whoever is writing the dialogue simply did not get the memo and it's not an indication of what's going to happen next. XP
I'm not sure how people are so foolish to think WoW will just.... stop? at like level 100. Newsflash: Everquest 2 is way older than WoW and at least 10-15 expansions bigger, and they are STILL making content for that game, and it's nowhere even close as successful as WoW is.
WoW will not stop for the death of a major lore character. WoW will stop when it ceases to be profitable.

Seems they're getting better at keeping a lid on these things. By this time we were already pretty confident MoP was the expansion, yet with this we haven't a clue. Love it.
Butts.
Careful, if it's something that's going to be a let down then most people who have all this anticipation built up will be raging on the forums.
You know nothing of it. So stop pretending it's going to be "all underwater and junk". You want to find a way to preemptively hate it.

We're currently in the south seas.

Anyone can do it. But What? August every two years the trademark is released. They tried saying MoP wouldn't be an expac either. They aren't able to hide a trademark. If they tm it someone is going to uncover it. And they aren't going to wait until the last minute to do it. Prepare yourself, it's the dark below.
Pandaria, as far as I know, is not a part of the South Seas Islands. From what I can tell, Pandaria is south of Tel Abim, Hiji, Plunder Isle, Zandalar, etc.
In fact I'm almost banking on it being a South Seas xpac since we haven't fought Azshara yet, and with Vo'jin now being warchief I'm sure there will be yet another troll patch where Vol'jin goes off to try to deal with the rest of the trolls on Zandalar for whatever reason. Because apparently we can't have an expansion anymore without a troll storyline being in there somewhere.
How could it not be? It's an island. It's definitely in the south seas.

And for people who are still skeptical about TDB.
"So we now have to ask if the trademark has been legitimately applied for and registered. It is registered under a legal firm called F.R. Kelly, acting on Blizzard's behalf. You can see an image of the section of the record here, or search it yourself. The law firm are specialist patent and trademark attorneys. Also notable is that the trademark status is currently under examination, with the application received two days ago. About when MMOC first published their story. What's more, the law firm is the same one that registered Reaper of Souls."

I've seen that list on Allakhazam back in '05-'06, when Allakhazam and thotbot where the only decent resource of information i knew about, i'm sure many of you remember those sites.
Ofcourse the list is not completely accurate, concepts are made and changed in every kind of development...
Edit:
Blizzard stil decides what they do with the game, Sunwell Plateau was not originally intended to be added during The Burning Crusade expansion but was added to give players something to do while waiting on the next expansion.

It's more of a continent. Yes, an island continent, but I really don't know anyone who considers Pandaria to be a part of the South Seas Islands.
A South Seas xpac would deal with the rest of the troll races, goblins and their capitol of Undermine, the Bloodsail Buccaneers, etc.
If the xpac is about Azshara it wouldn't necessarily be a South Seas xpac though, Nazjatar/Suramar is closer to the Rift at the center of the Maelstrom.
Pandaria is in the 'South Seas' but it is not the 'South Seas' expansion. There is an entire series of islands and zones that are considered to be part of the 'South Seas'. If the next expansion is Old God/Naga related, it'll likely be the 'South Seas' expansion, or at least include the islands that are in that area.
