Well if we count the lockouts fairly. Assuming across the board they only got 1 lockout per week.
That'd put asia what, a month ? later than the US/EU kills?
Dragonflight Summary, "Because friendship is magic"
What about Africa ?
Method got World First. Wowprogress, manaflask recognise this. They changed the system to remove Asia from the bracket, as asian realms are playing the 'ez' mode where they have much higher ilevel.
Wouldn't necessarily say that. The Heroic 25m difficulties between NA/EU and Asia are comparable given the bosses have increased damage and health to compensate on the Asian servers.
The problem with the Chinese kill was that it wasn't done on 25m. They used their double lockouts and greatly superior ilvls to drop down to Heroic 10m and cheese a kill. 10m for them isn't changed and is the exact same as the 10m we face on NA/EU servers. But they were able to do it with like 20 ilvls higher than the intended tuning and get a substantially easier encounter than the rest of the world were facing.
Had they gotten the world first kill on 25m, there would be no real controversy. What they did would be the equivalent to say if you had two raid locks during ICC, when 25m raiders had gear an entire tier higher, and a 25m guild dropped to 10 to steal the world first instead of finishing it on 25m.
Why are these threads still necessary?
How can people possibly think that the Asian guild really got World First?
Seperate lockouts, done with 25mH loot (2/4 Upgraded, when dropped) on 10mH.
It would be kind of like giving a Chinese man a car in a foot race.
So, long story short, since these has been beat to death:
Congratulations, Method! For World First, and World First 25M
Congratulations, Paragon! For World First 10M.
To whatever Chinese guild may have killed Garrosh "First", play by the rest of the World's rules and we'll start counting you guys as part of it, until then, your kill is meaningless in the race.
