And what happens in the games trumps what happens in the books. Forsaken are shown to be dimishing and the population shrinking causing Sylvanas to turn to using Valkyr "to keep us from dying out."
Do you really think Arthas was the pinnacle of intelligence and knowledge? That he could not make mistakes? Really?and in WC3, arthas the death knight (long before even dreaming of becoming the lich king) said that he intended to live forever after defeating uther.
Or... they will. The magics that bind them aren't necessarily eternal. All it would take is for one of the devs to go "Oh, a disruption in magic is occurring! For the Horde this means the Forsaken must search for a new source of necromantic energy on another planet to re-stabilize before Sylvanas is no more!"so I'd say it's safe to believe that the forsaken won't just disintegrate out of nowhere.
Soothing Mist:"Healing them for a minor amount every 0.5 sec, until you take any other action."
Jade Serpent Statue: "The statue will also begin casting Soothing Mist on your target. healing for 50% as much as yours. "
[What's half of minor?]
"Statue casts Soothing Mist at a nearby ally for toddler healing."
Necrophilia? Uh, not my thing.
A walking corpse would be an improvement on my ex.
the forsaken were diminishing because they spent 9 years fighting against the scourge (a bigger group of undead that can take them for their side) and the scarlet crusade (an army of light wielding warriors specialized on killing the undead) without any means of replacing the ones that were lost. it was not because of some non-magic weapons or spontaneous disintegration.
he was the right hand of the lich king back than. surely his boss could tell him stuff. surely he knew more about the undead than players do.Do you really think Arthas was the pinnacle of intelligence and knowledge? That he could not make mistakes? Really?
that could happen, but it wouldn't be like "dying from old age". it would be more like "dying from asphyxia".Or... they will. The magics that bind them aren't necessarily eternal. All it would take is for one of the devs to go "Oh, a disruption in magic is occurring! For the Horde this means the Forsaken must search for a new source of necromantic energy on another planet to re-stabilize before Sylvanas is no more!"
Warlorcs of Draenorc made me quit. You can't have my stuff.
Many people need to realize that this is WoW we are talking about. What difference is there between having a Forsaken buddy while being together in the Argent Crusade or being in love with one of them. None. It sounds just as strange as being with any other race in the game world.

1st Human beings unless they suffer from a mental disorder have an inherent rejection of inanimate objects that try to pass as human. This is one of our big problems why we have a tendency to dislike very life like animation or anthropomorphic robots. If something is very very human like but not human enough we inherently reject them as "wrong" or "disturbing". It is the holy grail of both robotics and animators to hit the perfect spot of similitude to humans or to be just different enough for it not to be creepy.
2nd Humans have an ability to notice very tiny and very subtle metabolic changes in other Humans. Men recognize subconsciously when a woman is ovulating, we notice subtle alterations in mood, disposition, we can usually notice from a distance when someone is even mildly ill, or is running a fever. A human like "something" that lacks normal metabolic processes would glaringly stand out, and our rejection instinct would kick in like a jet engine. The closer you get the more glaring the differences would become. Lack of body heat, lack of involuntary metabolic reactions such muscle twitches, lubrication of the skin (touch human skin...now touch a cold leather surface, can you notice the difference?), scents (which are very complex substances, with indicators such as general health, mood, physical conditions, race, gender). You can't have all of the above without a functioning metabolism, and you can't have a functioning metabolism without body heat. Thermodynamics.
3rd Video game avatars and real life are different things. And believe me, seeing Sylvanas up close in real life, would freak the shit out of 99% of you. The remaining 1% need psychological counseling.
So I voted no, because it would be either impossible, or I know that I would need to consult a specialist if I think it's a good idea.
Uhh, I think that's bullshit.
And I have to say about this:
Wat? I'm all for robots walking among us like in the movie A.I or I, Robot. This is one of our big problems why we have a tendency to dislike very life like animation or anthropomorphic robots.
Also can you give an example of "very life like animation". I don't get it. Are you talking about games? CGI movies? Cartoons?
If she looked like Sylvanas hell yes.
What a sick question. What is dead has to stay dead. Simple as that.
Well I'm not talking about intercourse or anything. I mean let's assume this; You have a wife and you live in SW. (You love her very much btw) Your wife goes to see her family in Lordaeron.
....Arthas happens.
After a while you meet each other only for you to find that she is a Forsaken. She still loves you and you still love her.
Nothing is different about her other than what you mentioned in your post. What do you do?
Wow, these forums have reached new lows. Are you looking to see how many necrophiliacs we have on the forums? No, no I would not bang a corpse walking or not.
I just saved a bunch of money on car insurance by switching to Geico.
