I was waiting so long for it, and i was sure that it will happen sometime.

Genn promised we will go back there, and Blizzard couldn't let such a beautiful area empty forever.

Sure, we may go make most likely in a scenario as you said, but no we won't retake it and it will be a set up to fuel vol'jin reigning Queen crybaby in.

I hope we get Stromgarde back as an important city, along with Hillsbrad Southills, Tarren Mill and other things that got defiled by them absurd walking corpses.
