Welcome and nothing wrong with being a newbie my friend. Also nothing wrong with Riki being a go to pick, which the more I play the less I see what people have against him.

Personally my old go-to picks I'm not doing as well with.

Vengeful Spirit, is a hero I feel super confident in picking up and just doing great personally, but my win rate recently has been abysmal with her. Treant's loss of bash since 7.0 to a root hurts but I think honestly it is more that my games don't allow me to ward the place up. So the map vision battle I used to win so handily feels less useful.

But as a support main, I end up first picking 99% of the time, unless I have a teammate spam picking their carry.

Warlock and Jakiro are both comfortable heroes for me to grab. Have a great winrate recently with them, and teammates always respond to fatal bonds (plus I've noticed a big rise in teammates picking heroes with teamfight abilities when I first pick him) and Jakiro's pushing plus opening up with all the AoE's tends to demoralize enemy teams pretty quick. Undying is another hero I feel really comfortable playing in a tri lane situation (though I always end up feeling like I would've been better off with someone else) but I didn't get the pirate undying outfit and hats matter dammit, so I don't play him much.

lately I seem to win the most as PA. But I only play turbo and she's godlike on turbo. Just spam daggers until 1 crits and then blink and finish the enemy off...

Krobelus the Death Prophet is my favorite it can deal a huge amount of damage to towers and heroes alike, while healing at the end of the duration

It used to be CK, high kill potential in lane, strong snowball potential and while not absolute top very good in the late game.
After 7.20 I absolutely hate him though, so now i'm back to my boy Weaver.

Viper is the easiest and most relaxing hero to play for me. Just go mid and obliterate anything.
