Kraits have invisible "wall" over lake and they have cleared all trees & buildings near lake.





There is this camp south of Fort Salma with Kasmeer and Marjory. They are investigating this.

Which prince? I'm actually there now. The barrier is right above where the Krait Blood Witch is. Marjory and Kasmeer are there trying to figure out how to take down the illusion.

Ahhh. I suspect it has nothing to do with him. Not sure how they can shoehorn the Prince in with the krait anyways. I tried to get into the lake. Most of it is blocked off by the invisible wall.

I think next patch is still going to be about the Prince, however the patch after that maybe? I like how they little by little make the next storyline ready.

If this does have something to do with the Krait, let's hope and pray that it is permanent content that affects the zone and surrounding zones in a meaningful way (ie: moves the world story of the Krait forward, shuffles NPCs around, adds/moves/removes DEs, etc). Also, their concept art is still amazing.

Wait wait...everyone is getting ahead of themselves. Clearly this is just a repercussion from everyone failing this DE everytime it spawns. While I have saved that village and the captives at least 5 times, it appears that as a community we have dropped the ball on those poor guys. This won't be anything crazy, just the devs letting us know our inaction has a price.

May the guilt of those lives be on your soul.

The events you're thinking of is in Viathan's Arm (defend the fishers/ free the slaves). This is the bigger lake nearby. The little ruins was an escort quest with a guy and ghosts of his former family. And the stupid Krait Witch that sucked and I hated her.

Boo, don't ruin my fun. I couldn't tell from the screenshot without blowing it up what specific section it was...it looked just like where I remembered doing that event. Oh well.
